    We had a wonderful 6 day stay at Canto de Luz. The small hotel was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Zuzannah and Lina who made our stay memorable.Thank you!     Great location, very clean, modern, fancy boutique hotel

    Very clean, friendly staff, great location. One of those hotels you walk into and it smells like the best spa hotel and you're greeted by drinks on a beautiful rooftop while your bags are taken to your room. We had 2 small kids and the room was set up with a king bed and two small beds for the kids, overlooking the rooftop garden. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and gave us recommendations for dinner restaurants and things kids would want to do and see in the city.     Perfect - stay here if you visit Porto!

    Beautiful and welcoming little hotel, in a quiet location but just a few steps from some great bars and restaurants, and walkable to all the main sites of Porto.Our room (City 3) was modern, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast is AMAZING, and the staff are all fantastic and really helpful. We also did the cooking class, which was fun and tasty.I would absolutely recommend this hotel, we will definitely stay here if we visit Porto again, and we were sad to leave!     Great Hotel in Porto

    We spent three nights at the Canto de Luz in Porto. This is a great hotel. It is conveniently located with many interesting places (e.g., Igreja do Carmo, Livraria Lello) within walking distance. The room we were in (Garden 3) was spacious, well-appointed, and quiet. The breakfast was very good with options including fresh fruit, pastry, bread, eggs, etc. But the most impressive part of our stay was dealing with the people working there. From the time I made the online reservations, to the day we checked out, all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The folks making and serving breakfast were very attentive, Hannah made several good suggestions for local restaurants, and Susan helped us make a reservation for a tour. The great people working at the Canto de Luz all helped to make our stay in Porto very enjoyable. Suzanne Butler, Owner at Canto de Luz, responded to this review Fantastic!     Highly recommend this lovely hotel! We stayed in the garden view with balcony room which was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The staff was so lovely and helpful. Every morning we had the most delicious and generous breakfast with local pastries, made to order special of the day, fruits, and coffee. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to all of our destinations. Can’t wait to return someday!
