    The accommodations were comfortable. Liked the feel of the room. The refrigerator kept us up during the night making strange noises, but turned it off and it was okay. Shower pressure was good. The only complaint was the woman at the front desk scolded us when we peeked in to see where breakfast was the next morning. Not much of a breakfast. Restaurant closed. The scolding wasn't necessary at all.

    Our reunion event was important to our class, but my experience with Harborside’s management and event coordination was very disappointing.At the conclusion of the event, the manager Suelyne Brown, yelled “Get out” on the microphone to guests as the evening was ending and the committee members who were under the impression a later stay was needed to close out, and cleanup had to quickly gather their items and leave the space. This was done publicly and in a manner that many attendees found humiliating and unprofessional. Additionally, at no point did Ms. Brown formally introduce herself to the reunion committee, explain her role for the evening, or review event logistics with us either before or during the event. This lack of communication created a level of confusion and set a poor tone for coordination. A couple of weeks prior to the event, a request was also made for a committee member to tour one of the rooms included in our group booking, but we were told no rooms were clean or available to view, which was both surprising and concerning given the size of our booking. We also discovered only upon arrival that the Portum Lounge was closed—this was never disclosed during booking—leaving our overnight guests without any on-site option for meal service.When these concerns were raised after the event, the management response focused more on defending decisions than acknowledging the impact on our guests. This lack of accountability and empathy was deeply disappointing. I do want to note that the food buffet options were delicious, and the wait staff were courteous, attentive, and professional throughout the evening—an experience that stood in stark contrast to the conduct of the on-site event coordinator. Considering Harborside is often viewed as one of the only viable alternatives to MGM for large-scale events in this area, the level of professionalism and communication simply has to be better. Unfortunately, due to these multiple breakdowns, I would not recommend this venue for large or meaningful events where guest experience truly matters.

    Definitely not worth the money! Two stars because the lobby is clean!

    I was attending a medical conference and this was a recommendation from the organization. I plan on requesting that they remove this hotel for the future. 1. Their front desk staff have perpetual frowns. It seemed like we were bothering them from check-in. They do not enjoy their jobs. The best staff they have are the shuttle drivers. 2. No bulb in the lamp at the bedside table. WTH!3. After a long day at medical conference, no clean towels. Found out that you have to request clean towels with room cleaning 24 hours in advance. 4. No pool. The website is very deceptive and shows a beautiful pool. 5. On top of all of that, the most uncomfortable mattress and pillows! Omg, couldn’t wait to leave! They should be ashamed of themselves for this level of service and quality!

    Warning about lax security

    The person I was travelling with, who was not listed as a guest, entered the hotel lobby without his card key and asked for a new one for room ###. The person at the front desk gave him one. She did not ask for ID, his name or my name, and did not try to contact me for verification. There was no way for the person to know that he should be given access to my room.

    Very noisy, couldn't sleep

    We had asked in advance for a quiet room, because I'm a fairly light sleeper. The room they gave us overlooked both a busy highway and a major freeway. All night long, the noise of motorcycles and trucks kept me awake. Unless you are a very heavy sleeper, you do not want to stay in this hotel. If you for some reason don't care about sleep, the hotel room was very simply furnished and clean. The staff were all helpful and polite.
