    Dirty, Disappointing and Overpriced

    The hotel charged 156 Euros for one room. When we arrived the room was not clean. The toilet was dirty from the people before. The shower was broken. The mini fridge was broken and we had to put our things in the hotel fridge. The receptionist said that they would be able to fix it the follow day but no one got back to us. The spa was absolutely filthy. Please see photos. I have contacted Flag World hotels and they have not responded to my complaints. We stayed for two days and it was really disappointing and a waste of money. This hotel is not four star.

    A quite deceiving stay

    I was here with my family during a round trip through Portugal. The room hasn't been very comfortable: the sink didn't work and the room itself hadn't been cleaned properly. Moreover there weren't blankets in the beds but the staff has been efficient in finding them out.

    Outstanding outdoor catering

    We contacted the hotel as we needed outside catering to come to our villa in celorico for our wedding. Me and my husband can not thank Ricardo and his staff enough. The we’re all extremely helpful and went above and beyond. We originally had everything set up outside but it rained, they moved everything back indoor and set the table up again. Everyone commented on the food, we had it for the wedding night and the following day for a BBQ. Highly recommended!!!

    Pleasant staff enhanced our stay

    From the cleaning lady to the director every one smiled and greeted us. That makes a great difference and enhanced our experience. The restaurant was good, the pool refreshing, and the indoor pool and gym helped us relax. I've asked for a chocolate massage at their spa and I can also recommend it. We had a great time there.

    From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome in this beautiful hotel. Everything is immaculate and stylish, but not at all snobby. Friendly staff do everything they can to make you feel at home. The spa area is just ridiculously fantastic -- much bigger than it looks on the photos, and really luxurious. Our room was great, with a huge bed and fantastic shower in the bathroom.A lot of careful attention to detail has been put into the design of this very new building, such as the fact that you don't need to go through the lobby area when returning to your room from the spa, but can just get into a lift that whisks you back discreetly. The food in the restaurant is the nicest we have tasted since moving to Portugal 2 years ago, and the breakfasts are much more delicious and varied than we have had elsewhere -- so much choice that if you tried just a tiny bit of everything you would soon explode! The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the Ecopista if you fancy a bit of cycling. We will definitely return.
