  I do not recommend this hotel. Rooms were fine, but the service was severely lacking and abysmal. I accidentally left an important personal belonging in my room and realized it after I had checked out. I called the hotel 9 times throughout the evening and emailed twice. No one responded to me. Finally, on the 10th call, a receptionist answered the phone at 10:30 pm and told me that they already threw my personal item away. As a person with a medical condition who really required this item, this was appalling and totally unacceptable. When I mentioned this to another hotel, they were shocked and said they themselves have a policy of keeping guests’ items in lost and found for 4 months. This hotel, Hotel Costa Verde, threw away my personal belonging in less than 12 hours of my checking out. And to top it off, they were totally unresponsive. I do not recommend this hotel at all. They do not take care of their guests and seem to not even care.

  A clean, relatively basic hotel. 9 storeys, we stayed on the 1st floor which had been renovated. Breakfast was a good selection of fruit, bread and protein.

  This was a spotlessly beautiful hotel, with staff who spoke great English and were helpful with any questions. The room was amazingly clean, big, and the staff was more than ready to give us anything we needed. Breakfast was more than ample with cheeses, hams, at least 7 types of baked goods, coffee/teas, fruits. It was two blocks from the ocean, which was a good thing because it was too noisy near the touristy areas. There are lovely restaurants nearby as well as a big shopping center.

  A fantastic find

  Wanted a reasonably priced hotel for a week as we were attending a nearby wedding.This hotel was immaculate, so clean, nice sized rooms, maid service daily and super air conditioning.The only small complaint we had was breakfast,… nothing wrong with the food, it was just tables were not cleared enough, we ended up clearing a table ourselves most days and they ran out of clean bowls, glasses & plates, ended up having cereal out of a coffee cup one morning!Other than that, it is so convenient for the beach, just a short walk away and plenty of places to eat and drink.There is a super little supermarket literally next door, so handy and a fabulous bakers too.All in all we had a great time at this hotel 🙂

  Not far from the Camino track. Good location. Excellent room but with the shower over the bath. Bed good. Room size good. Good balcony. The hotel had recently been renovated and some scaffolding was still in place on the exterior. Breakfast acceptable in the European tradition. The hotel is recommended for Camino walkers.
