Location

This luxurious city hotel is located in the tourist resort of Porto, not far from the old town. Countless shopping venues, cafés, bars and restaurants are to be found in the vicinity. Facility

The hotel has 42 suites, 232 single rooms and 83 double rooms, which are located on 15 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     Our stay at Crowne Plaza Porto was wonderful. The room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, we slept very well. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of great options. I will definitely return here when I come back to Porto.

    A Very Good Hotel in Porto

    My wife and I visited Porto for the first time in mid November. We selected Crowne Plaza for our 6 nights stay. At the beginning, we were a little bit concerned with its location as it is not situated in the old town where the main attractions are located. But it turned out to be good choice because:A. it is located in a quiet and high class area which is very safe. A large supermarket is a few minutes walk away. B. we used Uber to go to the old town and the attractions and restaurants which are about 15 minutes away and cost about Euro 6. We found it very convenient.C. the hotel has partly completed its renovation. Our room is new with good facilities.D. the service from the front desk and the restaurant staff was good and they were also friendly under a strong guest focused management leadership. During our stay, we met the General Manager and the Rooms Division Manager who personally cared about our stay.E. its restaurant is worth trying. We had 4 meals there and we particularly enjoyed its beef, cod fish and risotto which were prepared to a high standard.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

    I spent 1 night here before my tour and 3 days during my tour. Room was great. They were doing construction in the hotel but I really didn't hear it though I did hear the construction across the street at times. This is in kind of a business district and a ways away from the downtown historic area. It's 45 minute or so walk or a quick cab/uber ride.Room was nice and spacious with plenty of room. Included breakfast was okay enough to get you going in the morning. we did have 1 dinner that was included after our tour meeting that was very good.

    My friend and I stay here for our first time visit to Porto, it’s a business hotel with conferences take place every day. We had the best experience here!The room is very neat and tidy with plenty of space. The location is a quiet, nice and convenient neighbour with less than 20 mins to the nearest train station. But personal experience there made me love the hotel (and the city) a lot more!The morning we had to go to day tour we couldn’t find any coffee shop nearby that opened before 7am, the hotel manger offered to make us coffee! I left my handbag in the restroom in lobby after I checked out and I called hotel concierge, they picked up right away and helped me find it. My friend and I had breakfast buffet there the second day and the staff who served us coffee had the biggest smile and best attitude ever! I’m someone who often goes on business trips and stay in different business hotels, but my experience with crowne plaza Porto is my best hotel experience. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this to everyone who wants a pleasant stay in Porto

    You will not be disappointed with this hotel. It is immaculately clean and the staff are very friendly and professional. There is a huge selection of breakfast items which were all delicious We used the Metro from the airport to Francos station, which is a 15 minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and would love to return.
