This hotel is quite near to everything in the Bolhão district. Room was clean, I was on the third floor and hot water took a little while to come hot but I just turned it on then got clothes ready to put on. Breakfast was wonderful and when i realised I was catching a train at 8.15, they put it all out at 7am so I could eat before I left. This was very much appreciated. The bed was a little hard. There are no elevators, but there is a human chair lift on the staircase to first floor if required for less mobility people. I enjoyed my stay here

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel and would never recommend it to anyone. The accommodations were very basic, the room was not as clean as it should have been. Also, there was no elevator.The worst part of my stay came during check-out at 5 a.m. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely unsafe. Despite booking through a third party and showing proof of payment, the person at the reception accused me of not paying and even called the police. What’s worse, he tried to take my luggage to prevent me from leaving, which was both intimidating and unprofessional.In the end, I had to grab my belongings and run to a taxi just to avoid missing my flight. This was an incredibly stressful and humiliating experience, and I cannot believe how poorly this situation was handled. The lack of professionalism, safety, and basic customer service is appalling. I strongly advise against staying here, especially if you’re traveling alone.

Great little hotel in a fabulous location. One block off of Santa Catarina and also from Bolhão Metro. Two blocks from Bolhão Market!! Fabulous gluten free restaurant -100 Culpa- next door. It is an older hotel and a walk up but it was perfect for my needs. Only downside was that, for me, bed was not comfortable - too hard. Otherwise I recommend staying here. They will treat you very well - like family!!!

Boteque hotel with secure pay for parking opposite. Excellent position for the city centre with friendly and attentive staff. Greeted upon arrival with a glass of port and given suggestions of where to eat and attractions to visit. Great place to stay and use as a base to explore Porto

Our party of 10 just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at the hotel. We'd originally booked for October 2020 but they were happy to defer the booking and keep the same price. The hotel is well located, very comfortable and provided a good breakfast, not to mention the glass of port on arrival. As mentioned by others the staff were extremely helpful. They recommended and booked some local restaurants which were terrific. We're already talking about making a return trip.
