    Good city break hotel

    rating30 Mar 2026

Perfect for our 4 nights in Porto. We had an early flight in so were thankful to be able to leave our luggage prior to checking in. Check in was easy, triple room was spacious but not set up for 3 on arrival - this was quickly rectified but took all evening to receive pillows for the 3rd bed! Beds comfortable, but sleep was interrupted by a truck ? emptying glass around 4-6am every morning - so take earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Easy walking distance to historic centre, and we comfortably walked all around Porto whilst there. Would recommend the Palais de Cristal for a stunning sunset view 10 mins away. Check out was at 12 and you are again able to leave luggage if needed. Would recommend for a good base for sightseeing!

    Very Spacious Rooms

    rating03 Feb 2026

Immediately upon arrival we were welcomed with fresh juice and the traditional pastel de nata which was of course very pleasant for us. The room booked for 3 persons was really very specious. I have never stayed in a hotel with a reasonable price offering such a big room for three persons. The bedding and towels were very clean and new, beds very comfortable. It was very nice to sleep there and get up with the sounds of the seagulls.

    Excellent hotel to explore Porto

    rating18 Aug 2025

Excellent hotel, great location. I was there for a conference which was closebye. Rooms are clean, value for money is excellent, breakfast very good and the bar area also nice to have a drink. Recommended for those who want to explore the beautiful city of Porto.

    Extremely bad staff in reception

    rating14 Apr 2025

I have been coming to this hotel for a decade. Always enjoyed it, but sadly it has changed dramatically. The staff at reception was the worst I have ever encountered. Extremely rude, and insulted an elderly lady at check in. I was appaled! AVOID, as this, the hotel reception staff give a really poor experience of Porto, a city that lives of tourism and services. The worst customer service ever experienced in a hotel.

Night mare on Christmas! Eurostar das artes hotel Porto

    rating27 Dec 2023

Maria the rude manager was a bad apple compared to the other staf members like Renato, conceição and Andrea de cleaning Lady.We booked 2 rooms for our family and unfortunately we the grandparents got sick! We were obligated to stay in the room as doctors order, the TV was so small that we developed neck pain ,we had to request 2 another 2 sets of pillows... compared to Se cathedral Porto Hilton facilities and hotel staff that were marvelous! My daughter just arrived here at our room complaining about this lady at the front desk called MARIA !My daughter asked so e information about how far the shopping mall was and she responded 30 minutes walking and for the outlet 40 to 1 hours walking!!!who that reck told her my daughter would go walking !!! Does MARIA knows about Uber!?what rude and sour Lady!Definitely she needs to go to USA to get hospitality training or get a MAN ...may be only may be she would be a little sweet. We have a business back at home and we advice the owner of this Eurostar artes hotel Porto just fire her! MARIA is a bad asset for the hotel chain!
