  The most irresponsible hotel attitude I have ever experienced

  0 out of 5. I have never in my life encountered staff this irresponsible. Do not expect to receive any accountable service at this hotel. Honestly, if a hotel cannot take responsibility for the service it provides to its guests, there is no reason to stay here at all.I stayed two nights and handed my laundry to the front desk on the afternoon of my check-in. I gave a clear instruction: “I don’t want to rush you, I just need it back before I check out.” My check-out time was the deadline, and the staff knew it. By check-out at 09:30 two days later, it still had not been returned. When I asked how this would be handled, staff told me the hotel would courier the clothes to me.What followed was the real problem. I was later billed for shipping — processed as a “Lost & Found” item, as if I had carelessly forgotten my belongings. These were clothes I deliberately entrusted to the hotel for a service they failed to complete within a two-night stay.The hotel insisted it had “followed policy” with next-day service. But I never asked for next-day delivery — I explicitly said I needed the laundry before check-out. And their own service terms state that laundry collected on the morning of the 20th should be returned the same day after 18:00, meaning I should have had it back the evening before check-out regardless.When I disputed the charge, the explanations kept changing. One staff member said I had selected “next-day delivery” marked in red on the form. Another later admitted nothing was written on the form, and that the mark was made by staff on a phone. So the very option they blamed me for was, by their own account, selected by them — not me.I did not receive my laundry, I was billed for the hotel’s failure, and I was treated as if the fault were mine. I would strongly caution other travelers against using any in-house service here.

  Great location in the centre of Porto. Very convenient to main areas including Sao Bento Train. Check in was quick, and the staff was helpful over all with recommendations. The room was clean and a decent size. The fridge worked well, I didn't buy any of their items from the fridge (drinks were 3€). Bathroom was modern with good shower pressure. We did not have the 15€ breakfast in the hotel restaurant. But found a nearby diner. In room coffee was instant coffee, it was ok.

  Incredibly Good- Great Location and Wonderful Buffet Breakfast with a Lovely Staff!

  This is a lovely modern hotel in a very good, central location within walking distance of all the major sites in Porto. Its rooms are spacious and very clean.The reception desk was staffed by friendly professionals. They even helped me out when my cellphone charger stopped working and were happy to provide good advice regarding shopping options. Here, I must emphasize the willingness of all hotel employees to be accommodating to guests after seeing an absurd critical review on this site. (Please remember: some people are just angry; a few are perhaps a bit crazy.)The breakfast options are incredible with many types of fresh fruits, juices, and a variety of delicious pastries and breads. I especially loved the seasonal crown-shaped fruit cake that was filled with nuts, too. Speaking of nuts, one reviewer complained about not getting eggs cooked to order. Well, there were freshly fried eggs, as well as warm and delectable scrambled eggs, available every morning at the breakfast buffet. These were constantly replenished by the Portuguese young man in charge of breakfast. He even took photos of the buffet's copious choices- including bacon, sausages, sautéed vegetables, etc.- every morning at 7 when it opened. This diligent guy was really great at making this hotel's breakfast a highlight of one's day, as well as one of the very best I've ever had in 20 years of frequent travel in Europe.This Eurostars hotel is a gem! Highest possible recommendation!

  A really good option for accommodation. An excellent location. Our room was spacious and very well equipped. Shower very good. Having said that the standard of the servicing of the room not always great. The en suite very modern, albeit the layout/smoke glass doors way not suit everyone. The hotel as a whole very clean and well maintained. Breakfasts very good, with a lot of variety. Friendly at reception. One tip: the bedroom temperature was set too high for us (24c.) and we did not realise we could change it, would have slept a lot more comfortably if we had.

  Yes the location of hotel is good . But not worth value for money for a few reasons 1. Bathrooms are horribly designed 2. The staff except Jessica at the reception are not at all cooperative and you will not find a single staff with smile on face to greet you. 3. Breakfast spread is ok ok . They do not have option of eggs to order . Again the staff is not courteous. No the atmosphere too is boring OVERALL NOT A GOOD HOTEL .
