    Very bad! There is no enough food, the tables are not cleared! We tried to call for assistance but no one was found! We have been stayed there foe 3 nights and at list 2 mornings was the same situation!

    Excellent location, a short 10mins walk from the station that takes you directly to the airport. It's about 15 - 20mins mins walk to the centre of porto and the main attractions.The staff were very helpful, recommended local restaurants and a nice park up the road, they even lent me a charger when I realised I'd forgotten one.Room wasnt massive, I had a twin room, but plenty of storage space, sockets by the bed, amazing shower; the lock was a bit funny on the bathroom door and was going to report it but forgot. There was no kettle, but they provided one on request along with cups, saucers, coffee and teas. There was a continental breakfast, with a wide variety of meats cheeses and bread.

    Stayed here for five nights, hotel was very comfortable, air conditioned rooms and modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast available.Walk to town is about 20 minutes.Our balcony was very small and had no seating but there was a roof terrace to sit on.Also highly recommend Manal’s restaurant directly opposite the hotel, very small but excellent food, we ate there twice.Also recommend CM tours for a day trip to the Duoro valley.

    A downtown hotel that is within walking distance to many restaurants. Clean rooms, air conditioning, bathrooms with showers, friendly staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Not in a touristy area but Uber is fast and inexpensive. Under 20 minutes by Uber to the Luis bridge. Around 10 minutes ride to the historic bookstore. Many neighbourhood breakfasts places for around 15 euros a head for, let’s say, eggs Benedict and coffee. There’s a large market food court called Successo that’s around 10 minutes walk away.

    Review of Exe Essensia Hotel :Group Stay Experience

    We booked 10 rooms for my group at the Exe Essensia Hotel, but unfortunately, our stay was far from seamless.Key Issues:Room Type Discrepancy: Two months before arrival, we notified the hotel about a language inconsistency on their website (vs. Expedia) regarding bed types (1 bed vs. 2 beds). The reservations team acknowledged our concern but assured us adjustments would be made upon availability instead of rebooking. Upon arrival, we discovered the hotel was unaware of our request, leaving us without the correct room types and them giving us the line "its based on availability" Reservation Errors: Despite confirming all 10 rooms, we were initially told only a fraction were reserved. Later, rooms were incorrectly assigned, even after our travel planner provided a detailed guest list.Lack of Resolution: No compensation or meaningful effort was made to address these inconveniences.Suggestions for Improvement:Correct the website’s room descriptions ("double" vs. "twin") to avoid future guest confusion.Improve internal communication between reservations and front desk staff.The customer service fell short, and the disorganization significantly impacted our group’s experience. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously to prevent recurrence.
