  Charming, comfortable, quiet, welcoming. A room with a balcony and a view. Delicious, healthy breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Excellent central location. Highly recommended.

  FLH - Feels Like Hell

  Didn’t get the room that I booked. Breakfast time was changed a few times because hotel is fully booked - WTF! Politely asked the Reception if it is possible to have an earlier breakfast just once because of an early day trip to Pocinho. No! Nein! Non! Pas possible! Breakfast only at 8 a.m onwards. Not a big deal but as I left the room at 7:30 a.m, breakfast for other guests was ready. Complaint fell on deaf ears. Hotel manager unreachable , only by writing E-Mail addressed to the Reception. As a paying guest, I feel shortchanged. The only redeeming qualities are at least the two friendly hotel staffs, one lady at the reception during check out and the cleaning lady. The rest are all grumpy and clueless about customer service.

  FLH - Feels Like Home - it did!

  This boutique hotel suited us so very well! The location was excellent - we did not have a car and were able to walk to LOTS of interesting things. Each night you would fill out a form with your order for breakfast the next morning, including the time you wanted to eat. In the morning, there would be a knock on your door and waiting for you would be a trolley with your breakfast! We loved to be able to pull it into our room, pop out the extensions on the trolley to make a table to eat on. They offered lovely fresh fruit salad, warm buns and tarts, granola, yogurt, etc, etc. We relied on the desk staff many times to help plan our stay/field questions and they were fantastic! Pleasant, determined to help us - and they succeeded!If stairs are hard for you, this is the only drawback - there are many and there is not an elevator option. A grand staircase leads to a clean fresh room - you will be glad you came :)

  Pretty good location, central. The hotel presents itself as FLH (feel like home), however, I felt nothing like this. Breakfast was served in the room providing hot beverages in a thermos. During my stay I ordered tea but it was served in the thermos where obviously was coffee before so you get hot water with already a taste of coffee. Another day I got clearly dirty and broken thermos which barely warm water. Also during my stay there were several insects in my room, and although I retorted the staff it took them for a while to come back to me and they said that the insect got through a window which actually I never opened during my stay. Anyway, the worse I felt it was the service, not much client oriented service. Absolutely not recommending this place to stay.

  Great location. Clean and Tidy. Comfortable bed and room. No elevator, but good exercise walking up the stairs. Port tasting on second floor. Good breakfast options. Front desk was exceptionally helpful, kind and welcoming. The lovely lady at the front desk helped me book my bus ticket to Nazaré. I appreciate her help. Thank you! Priceless.
