This exclusive city hotel enjoys an ideal location in the historical centre reasonably close to the Rua de Santa Catarina shopping street as well as in the middle of the tourist centre. Links to the public transport system are located just a stone's throw away (200 m). The well-worth seeing Praça da República centre is only around 500 m, which can easily be reached within walking distance. The immediate vicinity (around 600 m away) offers a wide variety of shopping venues, countless bars, pubs and restaurants as well as a nightclub (around 3 km away) and various other entertainment venues. The inviting turquoise-blue sea is roughly 6.5 km from the hotel and can comfortably be reached by car or public transport. The nearest airport is some 10 km from the hotel.

Facility

9 suites and 64 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock.     Lovely hotel with a few recommendations!

    This is a lovely hotel and close to everything in Porto. We loved our stay and the room for breakfast is beautiful. Our only caution is we were in room 416 which faces the street, our room was lovely however we could hear the street traffic when the bars closed around 2:30 - 3:00 pm. My recommendation would be to go with an inside room. Plus the hotel is undergoing renovations. I would check when they are expected to be completed. We would definitely stay again.

    Lovely Hotel right in the centre of town. Walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. We loved the cocktail bar, amazing Cocktails! Our premium room was nice, lovely bedding and comfy bed. Big walk in shower but does need a few bits repairing and updating . Well worth doing one of the days excursions trips to the valley but be prepared for a long day. We were disappointed that the pool and roof top area was closed due to renovation and we were not notified in advance. The hotel renovations are quite noisy so worth checking progress before you book. This is the only reason I haven’t given a full star rating. The manager was understanding however, and offered us some extras to compensate. Would definitely return as Porto is well worth a visit!

    Grace, elegance and charm - just a shame about the noise

    We stayed here for a birthday weekend in Porto and absolutely loved it. Beautiful décor and ambience, great location, friendly and professional staff, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Good cocktails in the Scarlett bar, too. The only real downside was the noise during the night: all I can say is that there seemed to be A LOT of noisy, drunk people whose shouts echoed up and down the streets well into the early hours :-( The windows could have used better soundproofing. But we were treated so well that I can't bring myself to remove a point for this.

    Lovely hotel. The lift is a work of art.The hotel ordered us a taxi to the airport. It charged 43euro, which was twice what we expected. It was a Sunday though, so there could be a surcharge.

    A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Porto. Stunning public spaces in this hotel - beautifully curated. Made a great location to explore the city. Staff so friendly and proud of their city. Restoration has been so carefully undertaken. We loved the lift!
