    Very Negative Experience

    Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, our reservation was not found. The first room had a strong smell of tobacco, and only after insisting were we given another one — also in poor condition.Main issues: • No air conditioning and the room was very cold for the children. • Insufficient bedding and no towels. • Mini bar not working, which we needed for the children’s food. • No TV remote, no toilet paper, no Wi-Fi information. • The room had humidity, black stains on the curtains and visible deterioration. • The receptionist only spoke English and did not even know the price — I had to tell her. • She gave us the room cards without writing the room numbers — I had to note them myself. • When the reception was empty, we tried calling but no one answered.The hostel is central and could be beautiful, but it’s clearly abandoned and poorly maintained.A very negative experience — we do not recommend it.

    It all went positive. However, when some friends noa said that the Welcoming was having "problems" with a double room, we feel "grateful" to make the check-in immediately. On Sunday, everything was closed at 10:00 and we could not ask about breakfast (which ended at 11:00).The best thing is that during the fair, we can go in and out of it by showing the reservation and card.     Recently refurbished and cleaned....I was staying in the room # 201 with 8 beds...... very good comfortable Mattress bed and plug in for your cell phone and also regular plug in for your laptop computer.....bed is very sturdy and well designed........ and hot water for shower was so good and working on and on.....lucky me to find this hostel accommodation with shared modern kitchen.....with induction stoves and modern stainless steel microwave and oven.....very clean and tedious.....closed by to Castelo da Feira and it’s 10-15 minutes walking.....

    Spent two nights at the Hostel. Was initially apprehensive but need not have worried. Room was as good as most 3 or 4* hotels; recently modernised with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with a great shower. Cleanliness was impeccable. Location is fantastic with many excellent restaurants and cafes within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is limited to juice and a roll in the adjacent cafe but there are options nearby if you want something more substantial.     nice hostel in the middle of medieval festival

    We were looking for a hotel , that would be close to the medieval festival and most of them were fully booked, we didn't want to stay in a hostel, but didn't have another choice. Our opinion change when we checked in. The location is perfect, we were just in the middle of the event. Inside the room there were 8 beds, but people staying with were very nice and didn't bother at all. Also there are lockers if you need.
