    Excellent Porto Hotel

    We stayed at the Hotel Catalonia for four nights in early May and absolutely loved it. The hotel was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. It was a short walk from Mercado do Bolhão. The hotel was spotlessly clean, one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Every day our room was as perfect as it was at check in, special mention to Fernanda the housekeeper who was excellent. The decor in the hotel was very nice. The rooms and the beds were extremely comfortable. The shower was powerful and the bathroom perfect. The garden was very peaceful and although we didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting. It was lovely to relax with a drink in the garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast on the last morning and it was top class. We felt that we really hit lucky with Hotel Catalonia and would definitely recommend it.

    My husband & I had a wonderful stay at the Catalonia hotel in Porto. The location is great, and a taxi from the airport was only €13. From the start, the reception staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel itself is modern, and the rooms were spotlessly clean.We dined at the restaurant a couple of evenings, and the food was excellent, with great gluten-free options available. Breakfast was also very impressive—everything was regularly restocked, and a chef was on hand to prepare fresh omelettes.A huge thank you to Katlin and Eder for providing such friendly and excellent service at the restaurant and bar. Even when it got extremely busy, they worked efficiently and always with a smile. Highly recommend!     Very comfortable and quiet hotel for staying in Porto. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Great pool and outdoor lounge / dining area.     Lovely City Break Stay

    We stayed at the Catalonia Hotel Porto for four nights. The hotel is in a good location for walking around the city. The room was beautiful with a nice bathroom and kept spotlessly clean and tidy. We had the buffet breakfast which offered a decent choice and there was a chef to cook separate egg dishes which is great. Had drinks in the bar in the evening served by lovely friendly bar staff. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great place to stay in Porto and it was excellent value for money.
