    Hotel is clean and spacious, centrally located within walking distance of all the Porto attractions.Not the most modern decor but great value option.Front desk staff were helpful and friendly

    Lovely hotel, convenient location, comfortable bed, very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast good and filling. Just right for a two night stay in Porto. It isn't fancy but very nice.

    Room doors unlocked & the uncleanness of the place is just a start as to why i don't recommend this place.The lack of care given to you as a customer is so obvious its past being rude.The rooms have an old dirty smell, the carpet is stained with filth & your room door is not even locked when you arrive to the room with your key, poor security system.Not even an offer of a refund of the taxes, room cost or an apology regarding the room already being open & looking like it was occupied!     We booked this thru a travel agency and got a good price for 2 (me&hubby). They forgot to mention that we need to pay a tourist tax (3€ per person per night) upon checking in, so first thing when we arrived tho the room was already paid, we had to pay 30€ on the spot before entering room. Ok..so it is standard. I am not necessarily complaining, just stating facts. The king sized bed has no spread/comforter, which was comfortable just 2 sheets and alternative comforter/blanket in between..which is fine since it has been recommended not to use bed spread for fear of bacteria and other nasty things. Our room was on the 1st floor (interesting since main floor entrance is below) and near the utility room which housekeeping uses often with being noisy into the night, even past 7pm when we sometimes relaxed before heading out to dinner or remained in room. Porto has been a great experience, so much to see, and this place is in center of all. Buffet breakfast was not included for fear we may not like what they offered, €12 per person and it was ok..scrambled eggs, pastries/bread, deli ham turkey cheese, cereal and diced fruit. Had no coffee machine or fridge in room, not sure any room has it..must ask but we didn't.

    avoid as much as possible!I put my money in the safe in my room and 500 eruo was stolen. When I reported it to the reception, the receptionist started smiling and told me that the police station is around the corner. I didn't expect anyone to give me my money back, but not even at such a position from the hotel!
