    Great hotel, great location!

    Excellent from beginning to end. The staff are all brilliant. Would have preferred an enclosed bathroom but overall fantastic experience. This hotel is in a great location. We arrived in the evening and as the hotel is located above the food market/hall, we could still get something to eat - great variety of food and excellent Tommy's margaritas 👌🏽The walk from the hotel to town is about 40ish minutes but you don't really notice it...even with the hills...it's very hilly so be prepared. The hotel is also near a bus terminal and the nearest bus stop is a 5 minute walk. So if your not up for walking you can take transport. We took the metro once to go to he beach with is a 25 min train ride. The metro runs on the the streets like a tram so great way to site see. The best bit, was that it was my bfs birthday and the hotel set up a birthday surprise platter with Port. He was so touched by the gesture. So if you are planning on visiting beautiful Porto, we would recommend staying here!!

    Horrible. The thermostat stayed at 28 all four days. Kept the window open for air since it wasn’t working, and we were up all night with construction noise even at night. We talked to the front desk each day, but nothing changed. No action. The bed was like sleeping on a rock too. We won’t be back. I rarely complain, but this was terrible.

    Room was quite compact but clean and comfortable. Slightly outside of the tourist area so as long as you are happy to walk that would be fine. The food court area next to the hotel was superb!     Hotel was nice however not enough food/restaurant options nearby except for the food court where we got two separate meals that were extremely disappointing. The room was very small, the staff very nice, friendly and professional. The bar usually empty and looked like small selection. I have mobility issues and there was no option except stairs to get to the lobby.
