    Lovely grounds, granite construction. Good breakfast, nice pool. The staff are kind. Easy parking.No restaurant at the hotel for lunch or dinner, no snacks served during the day. To go somewhere to eat, you need to go by car. No kettle in the bedroom for tea/coffee. Bar is open but there’s no one serving at any time. A place that serves mainly weddings, baby showers, etc. If you happen to be staying at the same time as an event, the noise is unbearable…recomend calling in advance to ask if there is an event booked during your stay.Wi-fi in the rooms is very week

    We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful place that is full of character and situated in an unbelievable natural surrounding.Me and the dog have enjoyed everything a lot. The friendly staff, great housewine, discovering the large property park, etc.: it was a very nice experience.The hotel is close to Porto and other interesting places in the North of Portugal.I was pleasantly surprised to encounter such a beautiful, natural and calm place in this part of Portugal.

    We enjoyed our stay in the Quinta so much that we almost extended our stay there. From that place you can easily do day trips to the surrounding villages and archeological sites. Our room was very quiet and the bed good, relaxation was therefor guaranteed. The personnel is outstanding!! I’ve rarely seen a so kind and helpful service. Breakfast is very good too. The only thing I could criticize is that the Quinta could be a little better maintained, with regards to little reparations on the property. Overall a great place to stay!

    Loved everything about this hotel. The imposing entrance, the buildings, the happy and helpful staff, the luxurious room, the pool, the excellent breakfast ( a super wide choice including fried eggs) looked after by a lovely lady who could not do enough for you. We fell in love with the place and would love to return. Also ease of parking and excellent nearby restaurant, San Domingo's. All of the above for about £65 per couple b&b. Amazing!

    My job requires me to travel to new cities every weekend, to meet new people and to stay at different places each time. I was very surprised to end up in this luxurious hotel. I had never stayed at a rural hotel and I was baffled by it. The room made me feel if though I was staying in a hotel - it was very spacious and classy. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the view was breathtaking.
