    A well-located hotel in the center of Chaves, close to several restaurants—perfect for a 2- to 3-night stay. The breakfast is simple, without a wide variety of food, but it has the essentials. The room was clean, but the bathroom needs more attention. There is no private parking, but there are paid parking spots nearby. The double room isn’t very large, but it’s fine for a 2- to 3-night stay. There’s no closet for clothes or other belongings, but there’s open space in the room to store these items. There’s no lunch or dinner serviceSince it’s a hotel located in the city center and near a busy area, traffic noise can be heard at night.

    Not overwhelmed with our stay - location is good

    It was an okay hotel - not my favorite, but it served the purpose. Amenities are minimal - no fitness center for example, and parking is extra. The rooms were clean, and spacious enough but the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We also didn't find the staff overly friendly or welcoming, and the breakfast was at best, average, but that would be generous. It met our purpose but next time we'll look for another place, although this was in a good location.     Best Ibis experience ever

    So far the best Ibis hotel I have stayed at. The building is beautiful, stylish and super central. Very comfortable lounge to relax, friendly staff. Rooms were very comfortable and well designed. Breakfast was simple but very good and served in a room with many archeological sites.     What a surprise! Spoiler alert - a great one!

    All we needed was a place to stay on our way to Braganca from Porto. I've booked this Ibis without even checking reviews. Ibis is usually a safe choice, nothing amazing, but does the job. And then.. the buidling from the outside is marvellous! We managed to park the car just outside. Room on the back, with a small balcony, was very comfortable. I especially liked the breakfast room downstairs, with preserved medieval pieces underneath the glass floors. Food OK, nothing extraordinary but sufficient. Definitely a great choice to stay. Also, Chaves itself is a hidden gem and not to be missed!
