Location

This hotel in northern Portugal is located within the tourist centre and in the immediate vicinity of the city centre. Shops, restaurants, bars, and the nearest public transport stop are all about 500 m from the hotel. The nearest nightclub is 1 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 39 rooms, including 36 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Children can enjoy the playground. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming.     Stayed the night, whilst touring the area.Great location, just 5 minutes walk from the Historical Town Centre, Restaurants and Cafes.It's a bit dated, but I guess, that's it's charm.Indoor Pool, too.Superb Buffet Breakfast, couldn't be faulted.Only issue, Reception Staff could have been more smiley.     Room was comfortable and for the star rating it has its to be expected. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.     It's better than it looks from the outside.

    Arrived after a long and tiring leg of our Caminho. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious enough. Concerns over noise, as we were at the front on a main road, were dismissed with excellent soundproofed windows and good air con. Everything was a little dated, and the bathroom reminded of school shower block but saying that it was spotless. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices and good quality. Two pots of coffee, so no queuing for a tedious machine to trickle out a mouthful of coffee. Altogether, a good one!!!     Run Down Poor Internet 2-Stars Maximum

    This hotel is the worst experienced on the Camino Coastal Portuguese to date; and one of the worst experienced in all continents traveled worldwide multiple times during the past 10-YRS. Save extreme disappointment & Stay somewhere else!! Portugal Green Walks needs to seek accommodations elsewhere! We sincerely regret that we did not meet your expectations and would like to understand why you consider us the worst hotel.     Average hotel, good choice IF at the right price

    Somebody wrote that this hotel has a 70s vibe (as a compliment... I guess). It is a good observation, but it is a shame the price is also not from the seventies.For 60 euros, this would be a great choice, for 97, really...Don't get me wrong, it is a nice enough, average hotel. Decent size room, clean, small but perfect ok bathroom, and an ok breakfast.It is just not a good value for money in my view. For 12 euros more you get plush accommodations and impeccable service in other hotels in town.At any rate, this is not a negative review, it is a review of an average hotel, perhaps too expensive for my taste. If you get a deal, go for it. It is very near the train station, and has some available park -- although not guaranteed. Viana is super small (and cute), so location is not really an issue.
