  Strathcona is a lovely remodeled hotel with very friendly/helpful front desk staff. Located downtown Victoria within walking distance to most sites of interest - perfect.

  Clean and spacious room, staff are helpful, location is good,the reception area needs to be redecorate, ambience is important!

  Great Hotel But Check the Music Schedule for the Basement club

  We loved everything about the hotel - rooms, location, check in, cleanliness, etc. But on Friday night the club in the basement was playing live music. The sound carried into our room on the 2nd floor keeping my spouse awake past 2am. I don't think there is anything they can do other than offer ear plugs.

  I really appreciated how easy it was to pre-check in. The staff were very accommodating when I did arrive. Overall found the hotel to be quiet and well maintained. Biggest draw was how walkable and close to everything it was
