    We had a wonderful couple of days at Monverde! We stayed two nights on our honeymoon and it was a relaxing reprieve from all our traveling. The service was excellent, food was delicious, our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the transfer service to and from Porto. Would absolutely recommend a stay here!     Very impressed with the Quinta. Amazing restaurant with good food and a very nice view of the vineyard. The room was clean also with a good view of the vineyard.     Peaceful and relaxing

    This is a classy, quiet, peaceful hotel with first class service in a beautiful setting. Our room was large with a comfortable sitting room as well as a terrace and even a private pool that was surprisingly large. There was terrific peace and quiet. Service at the restaurant was friendly. One thing to note — some rooms are quite a ways from the main buildings (dining room, spa, etc). That contributed to the bucolic surroundings but be prepared to allow time for going between your room and the other facilities.
