  Myself and my Husband stayed here for my 50th Birthday in April for 4 nights, location was perfect, checking in was smooth, everyone very friendly and helpful. The apartment itself (we stayed 1A) was amazing, had everything you could possibly need, we have views overlooking main street in Santa Catarina, we enjoyed loads of different street entertainment with a birds eye view from our lovely room. Spotless clean, with toiletries (no conditioner though), there was an ironing board and iron, although I will say the only let down was the iron, it wasnt a steam iron so didnt heat to the extend we needed to iron certain things, but that is my only gripe. If we are ever in Porto we will definitely book these apartments and I will highly recommend them to everyone.   Disappointing Customer Experience...

  My parents had stayed with My Story chain in the pass and spoke highly of them, so I was confident to book Porto/Lisbon with this hotel chain.I was scheduled to stay in this hotel from April 29-May 2, due to unexpected power outage in Portugal/Spain and parts France, my flight to Portugal was cancelled. I couldn't make it to Porto and I emailed the hotel right away. Unfortunately, my rescheduled flight only allowed for a short visit to Lisbon from May 2 to salvage what I could from my vacation. When I emailed Paula Pereira to cancel my reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, she replied, I will be charged for 1 night. I asked if the charge could be applied towards my stay at Hotel Augusta(sister hotel in Lisbon that is also part of the same chain), I did not get a response. I understand there are policies, but this was an extreme situation beyond my control. I had hoped that they would have been empathetic but I was left feeling disappointed.I hope that they would still reach out.

  The best apartment ever with the best location

  I have never seen such a super combination of location & service apartments, this was even better than a hotel, the best location of porto, with the best apartments, decor, service staff, a good in room deck, and a beautiful complementary wine. The lady at service was polite and humble. The best ever apartment experience.

  Perfect location on Rua de Santa Catarina. Upon arrival, I phoned the number given and a representative (Sophia) opened the door moments later and welcomed us.Although the exterior of the building is old, the interior is all new. All floors can be accessed by lift/elevator. We had apartment 3B which is one of the two apartments with a balcony overlooking Santa Catarina (the other apartment is 3A). Our view was directly towards Grande Hotel do Porto which was actually our initial choice, but was fully booked.The apartment has free WiFi, a kitchen with all that you would expect, including a coffee machine with capsules included, bathroom with walk-in-shower including all toiletries, flat screen TV, sofa and a good sized bed.A supermarket is about 5 minutes walk away, handy for purchasing breakfast items or a nice bottle of wine to enjoy on the balcony.Plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The waterfront area is walkable (maybe 20 minutes) but a taxi may be the wise choice.The Café Majestic is also only a few minutes walk away but seems to be on every tourists list of things to do, so can be busy, especially in the morning. Best to wait until late afternoon/early evening before visiting; it is surprisingly expensive.

  Very clean. Located downtown in the shopping area. We weren't there to shop; required some walking to get to the river and historic sites. Nice to have the space of the apartment and to cook some meals. Staff were helpful with booking taxis and requests. Make sure they know your arrival time.
