  Really rude staff, (common review theme), Awful drain stench, Prison like blanket, AC dead remote and no smoke alarms.

  Exceedingly rude staff who make your arrival feel like a chore to them. This is a theme in many reviews on here for this campsite and would be easy to address if the owners/employers were genuine in their standard feedback to reviews. To be greeted with the first words "name" then "voucher" in response to my friendly greeting is more like a prison camp than holiday park. Then to be told "No,! Come back later, it is not ready" (actual transcripted words) is plain rude especially as this was 4.10 and check in was from 4pm. Person next to me was angry as he was told to come back 50 mins later!. Made the mistake of asking about getting to Porto- met with irritation and finger point with the word "bus". When we finally did get a key from them, no apology fir the long wait-she held the keys back with a brusk "I.D.!".Honestly- you really did feel unwelcome and disliked.In reception, unlike the hundreds of campsites all over Europe I have stayed at, not one single pamphlet, information leaflet or guide whatsoever-- again a simple thing owners could attend to.The mobile home -- I took some photos - though these cannot show the awful drain smell that greeted us - it stank! Also, contrary to European health and safety laws - the smoke detector had been removed as evidenced by the remaining base plate. The shower drain was utterly blocked (could explain the regular drain stench). The outdoor chairs were filthy looking. There was no duvet as advertised - each bed had what another reviewer accurately described as like a dirty prison blanket. The batteries in the air con control were also dead. The site does say no dogs -- yet there were many kept by long stay locals on site which ensured disrupted sleep.So much here could easily be improved upon at minimum or no cost if the site owners were genuine in their replies thanking people for reviews -- especially addressing the common review theme about the rude reception staff.   Generally positive with a few weird exceptions

  Firstly, don't expect a warm welcome. We arrived in the evening to a receptionist and security guard who looked at us with complete disdain and didn't even say hello, let alone welcome us to the site.Other than that, lots of positives and a few negatives. Great pool, nice quiet site, accommodation was satisfactory. shop under stocked and understaffed. strange fencing going on which prevents easy access from pool to cafe, it felt like they actively didn't want to make money. local area is scruffy but we found some good restaurants on the seafront and opposite the site is excellent value.   Excellent family holiday.

  Small very personal campsite. We stayed in a Eurocamp chalet as part of family holiday. The 3 bed chalet was in excellent condition with staff very quick to deal with any issues. You won't feel bothered by crowds here. Good base for quiet holiday with Eurocamp.The swimming pool was good but may benefit from being a bit bigger with some slides.Areas generally clean, though lick of paint may help going forward.Never ate at restaurant but seemed nice.The shop was small, could maybe be improved.UBER into Porto is relatively cheap. Local beach is beautiful.I recommend it if you're looking for a quieter more grown up resort.   You get what you pay for - unreal place a few minutes walk away

  You get what you pay for! We stayed in an XL chalet it was mainly fine the beds aren’t very comfortable but that they are fine, the pillows are awful! And you don’t want to be taller than 5ft 5 for the toilet it was a tight squeeze. The park itself is good, great kids pool and adults pool. The staff all friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t eat there food isn’t great (pizzas are fine and bread from shop is good) but there is some fantastic restaurants 5/10 minutes walk from the park and with great food and much cheaper then the park restaurant. Amazing take away/restaurant 1 minute away. With all the restaurants around (don’t get turned off by how they look outside). There is a bakery and supermarket 5 minutes walk away and it’s so reasonable and delicious!   Good aspects:Swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff, fresh breadAdequate aspects:Restaurant, but as a vegetarian the only option was a cheese pizza, pitches a bit scruffy but ok, toilets cleaned regularlyBad aspects:Toilets frequently ran out of toilet roll.Site is used by large groups of unsupervised youths who, despite the silence from 11pm to 7am rule, returned from a night out from 3am- 5am talking loudly as if it were daytime. On that basis, if you want an undisturbed sleep then choose a pitch which is not located on the route towards the area where they camp.
