    Porto is an amazing city, and staying 7 nights at this lovely hotel made my visit extra special. Everything about this hotel located in the heart of the city is exceptional. My room was immaculate and comfortable, and at night very quiet. The breakfast was great. However, what really made my stay extra special was the all the great people who worked there. Everyone was so gracious, friendly and helpful in any way they could to make their guests truly feel welcomed!

    We initially just stopped for a pre dinner drink on the sidewalk - but got hungry and decided to move inside to the restaurant when it opened at 4. Waitress Mafalda was attentive and professiona food was very good too gluten free options ( except for beer which we saw advertised everywhere) . Call out for the burrata with beets and the lamb confit. Would return.     Great hotel in the historic area.

    This was the last hotel on our tour of Portugal. It is in the historic area of Portugal. Close to sites and restaurants. It is an historic building but the rooms are modern and clean. The hotel was lovely and the staff was great. Especially Alex Catarina. When we needed a taxi he helped us. We had to reschedule our ride to the airport and he helped with that. So pleasat as was all the staff. We had a room on the second floor facing the street. It was great being able to watch the things happening on the street. But there was no noise when you closed the windows and curtains.     A lovely stay at this very beautiful hotel. Gorgeous room with a lovely welcome gift of cake and port. Many thanks to staff who were so helpful when my wife was poorly. Especially Louis and Alex. We loved our stay in Porto and would recommend this hotel, it is near all the places to visit and lovely bars and restaurants nearby.
