    This hotel exceeded all our expectations!We had a 4 night stay to celebrate my son’s birthday and could not fault a thing!You couldn’t ask for more welcoming or helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always happy to help.The rooms were well appointed and had quality linen with the hotel name embroidered on. Also monogrammed bath robes and a pair of slippers added to the luxury. Lovely bathroom products made us smell delightful.A free bottle of water was placed in the room daily and the rooms were beautifully clean.There was a large TV in the room should you want to watch it (not sure of the channels as we were up, breakfast, out, bed…. oh boy, do those hills give you a good work out 😂)We had breakfast included in our stay and it was delicious. The presentation of the food, the quality and the food options were excellent…..very impressive.The hotel was in a great location which made it easy to get around, whether you wanted to go to the riverside, maybe purchase souvenirs or find bars and restaurants you were very central.My son celebrated his birthday while he was here and was presented with a bottle of sparkling wine and a cake. Again everything was presented in a beautiful way. Even his cake was covered in a glass dome.I really cannot sing the praises of this hotel enough and would like to thank everyone for making our trip very memorable.Would I recommend this hotel? Without a doubt!

    Old time charm. Perfect location. Rooms spacious and very comfortable. All the amenities in the room including a robe and slippers. Buffet breakfast delicious and lots to choose from. Restaurant downstairs for dinner. Everyone was so kind, accommodating and always with a smile. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    This hotel is in a great location for exploring Porto. The area outside has restaurants etc but it is closed to traffic so there are no car horns or engines revving at midnight. The rooms are nice (good linen) and a good shower. Breakfast was €9 per person and worth it. Reception staff were friendly & helpful. Really please with our choice of where to stay.

    Lovely hotel and very central. Staff very helpful and friendly.Be aware that Porto is very hilly so be prepared to do a lot of walking and up and down hills.

    We had three nights of luxurious experience at the hitel. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were above expectation for the price we paid . The breakfast was nutritious and varied .Couldn't recommend more highly. Will return .
