    Decided to pick this hotel ad it was close to the airport and beside the sea, Big Mistake! Although the reception and the lobby has a nice Art Deco feel about it the bed rooms are another story.Old fashioned dark and dingy.The bed was so small that my feet were hanging over the end and I’m only 6ft !The bedding and pillowed were all made of nylon and polyfill.The room was small and claustrophobic and the mosquitoes didn’t help either!Avoid !

    We stayed here for 3 nights as we were attending an event locally. The hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection for breakfast including fresh fruit. The hotel is ideally situated for a walk to the lovely nearby beach. There are plenty of restaurants close by with many having fish as their speciality as Matosinhos is a fishing port.Our room was well equipt including a fridge. It could be improved by providing hot drink making facilities in the room. Also the only mirror was in the bathroom and of no use if you've just had a shower.Would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.

    Located in a scruffy part of Matosinhos but very close to the beach and the tram to Porto is right outside the hotel. The staff are lovely. Parking close by on the port road (free] or outside the market (metered]. Handy for the airport, which is a short drive away.

    I reserved a block of rooms for a group of Americans visiting in Porto. The service was 5 star. Everyone at the hotel was so helpful. The group coordinator also helped make dinner reservations at some local restaurants.

    I work with a major hotel industry. A Basic room that is clean & clean bathrooms. Excellent place to stay close from the beach. Breakfast is excellent! Staff is really nice. I do recommend this hotel. I'll be staying here in the future when I’m back visiting Portugal 🇵🇹.
