    Porto old town

Great place for a family holiday or couple to visit. The old town is very scenic and can become quite busy. There is plenty to see/visit and many places to eat or have a coffee or drink

Grubby streets and far to much building work.

I feel spoilt having come to Porto from Salamanca. Porto old town is full of old building covered in graffiti. There is litter everywhere and the payments are dirty. The whole area is also full of building work. For an area that wants tourists, they must do better. We may come here again, but it will not be for at least 5 years.

    Great accomodation in Porto

    rating24 May 2025

Great location, walking distance to everything with a nice cafe on the street corner. A wonderful bottle of port as a welcome gift. Front counter staff were honestly unbelievably helpful. Talked us through a map of porto’s famous locations, which we enjoyed visiting. Apartments were clean with kitchenette & bathroom amenities.
