    Poor customer service. Good location, nice rooms. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Door to terrace did not open. They state on their website that they grant the lowest price, is NOT correct and they do not reply on sent e-mails. I booked a room for 2 nights, a few hours later I found the room at 68€ cheaper, I sent an mail if I could cancel an rebook the room, never received an answer. Spoke to the receptionist when we checked out, she assured to talk to the management, sent another mail, did never receive an answer. So please check thoroughly the price before booking, is it NOT at all best price guaranteed as claimed on theit website.

    FLEAS IN MY BED

    FLEAS IN THE BED!!!!! I woke up today COVERED with flea bites, I went to the pharmacy at 1am where they confirmed it was fleas. I counted a total of 83 bites on my body. I came back to the hostel asking to change beds and they said they were fully booked and that all they could do is a refund for the stay which takes 48hrs to arrive. I requested they paid for another hostel for me to stay and they denied this. I now have £100 left on my account and am gonna have to spend £70 on a new reservation. Leaving me with only £30 to eat, use transport and anything else during my trip.This has completely RUINED my experience here in Porto. I honestly think the hostel should’ve done more. I am in pain all over my body, I can’t even walk because I have bites on the sole of my feet and they’re suggesting I walk to another hostel with my heavy luggage. I will never set foot in the place again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else did.

    The place is clean, and the location an ideal one. The facilities are good, as well, and the staff helpful. The breakfast included makes it excellent value, and the kitchen is well equipped. My only issue, and this is my second time there, so it is recurrent ( and on every floor) is: The bathroom and showeroom doors and windows are largely and permanently open to the exterior. In a place as cold as Porto, in the Winter, this is really, really uncomfortable.

    This hostel was lovely. I stayed for 2 nights and it was a good experience. The breakfast was good and the chill out area was relaxing. The room was good although the top bunk was a little squeaky! You don’t need a padlock here as they give you a key for your draw. The hostel was clean, they make your bed and the shower was good.

    Great location. Clean facilities and lots of space to lounge or hangout. The rooms with en-suite are spacious. I enjoyed the restaurants and shops available across the street on Rua do Santa Catarina.
