    I have stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions. The first when picking up my daughter and grandson from an early morning flight. I arrived at the hotel around 0230 and was quickly checked in and was in by bed 15 minutes later. As my daughters flight was delayed I was able to have breakfast which offered penty of choice. My second stay included my wife, daughter and grandson on the following weekend befor an early morning flight back to the UK. They were very accommdating in providing a cot on our arrival. We had dinner at the hotel which was not cordon bleu but was enjoyable nonetheless. In terms of price the hotel is very competitive and is only a 6 minute drive from the airport. We found the rooms to be spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The only downside that I would mention is that although the hotel supplied various extras( tooth cleaning kit, sewing kit, hand soap etc) No shower gel was supplied in the shower. This was not a problem on my second visit as we took our own.It is classed as a 4 star hotel which is probably stretching the point a bit and it is begining to look a bit dated but in my opinion it provides excellent value for money and I would not hesitate to stay there again when flying from Porto Direção Premium Porto Maia, General Manager at Hotel Premium Porto Maia, responded to this review Dear Sir Derek Kane,Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us regarding your recent stay at the Premium Porto Maia Hotel.     Great hotel, next to metro..

    Great hotel. I had a lovely stay.. the room was clean.. breakfast was awesome.. and for just 19.90€ the dinner was good and tasty too.. and with a plus cause the metro is just round the corner.. So to the airport and to Porto is just a few meters away..

    What a pathetic excuse for a hotel! It might have been a 4 star hotel back in the days when it was new, but this is what happens if you don't invest in renovation and skilled personnel. Due to a double booking in the hotel I regularly visit I ended here. The lady at the reception "welcomes me back" at my check in, although I visited the hotel never before. I never had such a fake and impersonal experience before. The rooms are outdated, the furniture is broken, the carpet is totally worn out and smells really bad. Shower and bathroom aren't clean. Breakfast is nothing special: dry bread, overcooked egg, watery coffee and a waitress with an attitude.This was a once in my lifetime, I'd never go back to this place.     We were here on a business trip. We booked 5 rooms. On arrival very late afternoon, 3 rooms were not ready. Unidentified problems, no further explanation. In none of the rooms the window could be opened. And, no proper ventilation, imagine the smell... Mould in bathroom in one chamber. Everything outdated. Some staff were friendly and helpful

    Given a room full of Bugs and had to switch. The room we switched to had its washbasin fall off while brushing our teeth. One of the chairs broke when sat upon with our grandson. But the staff were excellent . The afforded all the courtesy possible.
