Clean and well kept rooms and property. Lovely common areas.Great, substantial breakfast.Booking dinner was not a problem, and we are so glad we did twice!Well worth the fixed 32E including wine.Loved the Crème Brulee dessert so much, we asked ahead of time for a repeat on our second dinner.Would recommend…great value.

Wonderful place for a restful few days

Lovely tranquil agroturismo on an organic vineyard. There was a huge pool, with plenty of outdoor furniture; both pool and garden had far-reaching views to the hills opposite. Dinner was simple but well cooked, and the breakfast was unusually good. The service was quite exceptional. Lamego is a good centre for exploring the upper Douro region, and there are a couple of very good restaurants in town.

Just up the hill from Lamego - tucked away on the side of the hill is the La Quinta B&B. The room was quite clean and comfortable. We had a lovely dinner in their dining room (and breakfast too).Ample outside space to enjoy the evening. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely stay at Quinta do Timpeira

My daughter and I stayed at Quinta Timpeira for 3 nights and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The Quinta is lovely, surrounded by grapes, Olive Trees and Cherry Trees, great view of the mountains.. Rita and her staff were very accommodating, ever ready to help, Breakfasts and dinner were delicious. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay and relax, while also exploring the surrounding region. The staff were always available and happy to help with questions. They helped book us a last minute tour at the Caves Raposeira ~5 min drive away - a must-do! We also had dinner every night there, always 3 courses and lovely wine/port to accompany.
