    The stuff is amazing! They helped us with everything, giving us tips and suggestions for the park, like cool places to go. Location is awesome, food in the restaurant was great! We stayed in the loft with a river view and fore place during march, so that was cool too.     Cool glamping in a very beautiful region! But be careful with the restaurant if you need gluten-free food. I joined an retreat with lunches/ dinners included and have never experienced a restaurant with so low service to try to help to solve food for me. I asked if I could get some fruit for dessert since all desserts in the menu was with gluten but not even that they could help with. Shame, because the food is very good but the low service destroys the experience. Also the breakfast have very little options for celiacs. This I experienced 10-15 years ago but not often 2022 (luckily)

    Our room was messy when we arrived. Sheets didn't fit beds. The bathroom was TERRIBLY designed, flooded every time anyone took a shower. The drain was returning a terrible smell. This room is marketed as a hotel room and in practice it’s a hostel, a very uncomfortable and simple accommodation that doesn’t deliver the value its price makes one expect. Shower's temperature was unstable, VERY hot or VERY cold. TV's sound was not working...if I stay here for longer I would remember more bad stuff. What a terrible stay. I prepaid for breakfast but there was a TERRIBLE breakfast. Very few options, what should be hot was already cold (at 9am) and what should be cold was not anymore. No mugs, nor salt, no spoons,...a lesson on how to make it wrong. There was very few public spaces. The restaurant, a balcony and a pool. The only event that took place was a 1hrs presentation of a DJ. The problem is that this presentation took place at the exact time everyone was having dinner and 2 meters from tables.     Great place for a nature-break

    Very chilled place, in an amazingly genuine location for nature-lovers. I particularly enjoyed the free Yoga classes, which will make your stay even more special, and which are maybe the main asset of this place as compared to the alternatives around.     I had a great time at this hostel! Even in the winter it is perfect to go in the mountains here and see the beautiful nature. It felt like the staff was one big family, they were all very kind :). Special thanks to Inês who made the Selina Gerês experience even greater with yoga and meditation classes every day off our stay. If you want to visit the south of Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês or just want to get out off the city into the nature this is the place to go!
