Location

Located 4 km from the nearest beach, this luxury hotel is just a short distance from the city centre and Praça da República. Links to the public transport network are to be found 100 m away and it is 500 m to a diverse selection of shopping venues. The airport is 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 17 suites, 77 single rooms and 241 double rooms, which are located on 12 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed.     Very nice hotel in a quiet area. Easy to get to by taxi, a good distance from main areas for a long sightseeing walk. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of all the breakfast items you would expect. Rooms are spacious with lots of features, comfy beds, nice toiletries, safety deposit box. Shower tray tends to be a bit slippy. Used the bar and service was very good. Lots of attentive service from reception staff, doorman, breakfast staff. One negative point had to be the pool. On booking, had not checked or noticed that pool/ spa had to be booked and paid for separately. Never before encountered this in a 5 star hotel.

    Sheraton Porto is just 20 minutes to Porto airport. Pleasant all day dining restaurant. Big conference facilities on the Mezzanine floor.

    Terrible hotel - no a/c and tired rooms

    Very poor experience and far below what you would expect from a Sheraton.The most frustrating issue was the air conditioning, which simply didn’t work in our room. This made the stay uncomfortable from the outset. We reported it, but no meaningful action was taken and we were never offered an alternative room. That level of service is unacceptable.On top of that, the room itself was clearly in need of refurbishment. It felt worn and neglected, with obvious maintenance issues such as bathroom and toilet doors that wouldn’t stay closed properly. These are basic standards that should not be overlooked.The location only added to the disappointment. The hotel is quite a distance from the centre of Porto, making it inconvenient for a short stay and requiring unnecessary travel time.Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations for comfort or service. I would not recommend this hotel and would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.     Sleek hotel, great stay.

    After having my flight cancelled I had to make other travel plans and flying to Porto was then on the cards. The Sheraton hotel was the best option from the Marriott stable. I arrived early afternoon and the hotel was kind to give me an immediate room. The room is spacious and grand. Enjoyed the stay and it was easy and quick to travel to the hotel via the metro or Uber.

    Went for a massage and body scrub( 30 minutes…Isabella did a fantastic job however these services are over priced. It cost me 350$ Canadian for the above mentioned Canadians think twice $$$We also ordered a soya tofu bowl and unfortunately there was absolutely no taste of soya in the tofu or salad .. very disappointed…Will not return.
