  Excellent place to stay!!

  We had a wonderful stay at the Star Inn Hotel Porto during our recent visit to Porto. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The gentleman on reception (Ruben) couldn’t have been more helpful—friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with anything we needed.Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay. We had a great night’s sleep each evening, which made our trip even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a lovely experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Porto.   OK hotel but we had an unfortunate tainted experience

  As the name indicates, it is more an Inn, rather than a hotel. The room size is decent, bordering small. It seems to have renovated in recent years, as the furniture looks quite new, however furnishing is just basic. The overall hotel facilities are also minimal. The best thing about this hotel is it has a huge parking lot, free of charge. After all, it is located outside of major attractions, but not too far from the city centre. Also, there is bus stop right outside the main entrance, where Bus #304 can take you to downtown Aliados Metro Station area in 30 minutes. However, my stay was tainted by an unfortunate experience of having bed bugs in my room. The staff at duty was not really responsive or offering any useful help, except giving us another room on the same floor!!!   Nice hotel but far from the centre.

  The hotel provides basic comfort, a good breakfast and helpful staff. The bar is not always attended so sometimes you have to wait to be served. The location is quiet and the bed and shower are fine. It is a long way out of town and unfortunately there are almost no restaurants nearby (apart from a very good Chinese). The bus stop is right outside and it’s less than 3 euros to travel to the centre but the buses stop running at around 8pm. It’s a nice hotel but the location is a little inconvenient.   Great stay.

  We had a lovely stay at the Star Inn. Although located out of town there is a regular bus service from right outside the door and is £2.50 each way.We arrived early in the morning and got a Bolt to the hotel to ascertain the location. We were too early to check in but we were able to leave our bags. Sara on reception was a credit to the hotel, she was so accommodating and informative.....An absolute star for sure!We were not aware that they did not serve evening meals, but we just stayed in town to eat.   Staff are amazing and helpful
