    It’s not a hotel, it’s just a place to stay.

    I did not choose this hotel, it was booked for me. If I had booked then I wouldn’t have chosen it. Mainly because there’s no staff. It’s not really a hotel, it’s just a place to stay and instructions on how to get into the building are sent by what’s app, and I had to phone the number on the door to get them. If you aren’t very savvy with a mobile phone then this isn’t the place to stay. We were an hour early and couldn’t get in the room. Had to get changed in the only communal space which has a tiny bathroom and vending machine and a few tables and chairs. Also the shower in our bathroom wouldn’t stay on the bracket, as soon as there was any pressure it flipped up spraying water all over the opposite wall and ceiling. So could only use the shower by handRooms are good, it was very clean and it smells nice when you walk through the door. There are big lockers to store your luggage in.

    If you’re after a no frills compact bolt hole a five minute walk from the Trindade metro stop, and a 20 walk from the centre of Porto, then this will suit you fine. If you want a proper hotel experience do not book.Our room (12) was big enough for twin beds and a bathroom and that was pretty much it. There’s hanging space for your clothes, but no drawers for underwear or other clothes that don’t need to be hung up. It does need additional coat hooks to hang up jackets or coats. Whilst there is a kettle only two teabags were provided.Breakfast is taken at the Cafe Sao Jorge a two minute walk away and was highly recommended.

    Great apartments a few mins walk from 2 metro stations and 10 mins walk to the main tourist area. Clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Breakfast vouchers provided with our stay, for a lovely bakers/cafe round the corner. Good communication from owners. Highly recommended for an easy place to stay in Porto.

    No reception, no fridge, no safe. They contact by WhatsApp and very rude when trying to sort things out. Long way from the centre up a very steep hill. Very basic accommodation. Nails sticking out of floor boards and several boards in poor condition. However the ladies that service the rooms are lovely and the rooms were very clean.

    Beautiful accommodation with an amazing original staircase, 3 floors & no lift so ability to climb stairs a necessity. Entry to the place/rooms is via a code so very safe. Lovely comfortable beds, plenty of fluffy pillows, very quiet, great powerful showers.TV, kettle and a good hairdryer! There is a communal entrance area with tables/chairs & vending machines to get drinks/snacks from. Also a microwave for your use. The daily housekeeper keeps everywhere very clean and fresh smelling. Location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to the Metro Station and cafes where you get a delicious breakfast. 5-10 minutes downhill walk to the beautiful Squares filled with restaurants, shops and architectural buildings. Well recommended accommodation 😍
