Location

The hotel is located on the south bank of the Ave River in Azurara, Vila do Conde. It is about a 5-minute walk from the centre of Vila do Conde, and Oporto is only 20 km away. Links to the public transport network can be found just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and the Atlantic Ocean can be reached in about 5 minutes by car. Guests will find nice beaches and important monuments in the area. Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport is some 20 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 2 suites and 41 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Guests can store valuables in the safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. Rooms

Rooms feature a living room and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. A hot tub can soothe sore muscles (for a fee). For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and golf are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam, a beauty salon, hydrotherapy treatments, thalassotherapy treatments and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu.

    Looks like a very beautiful hotel but has some flaws/downsides

    Rooms are repainted but you can see it’s old. The bathroom wasn’t very cozy, tinkered, old furniture. There was a humidity smell in the room and dripping noises in the wall. The quality of the food in the restaurant wasn’t 4* worthy.. the pool area was also really old, not well maintained. The personel was really friendly and the service was good. The ground floor was beautifully decorated and smelled good!Overall, the experience was fine for 2 days, but I would’nt recommend the hotel for a longer (wellness) vacation.     We stayed at Villa C on our way from the UK to S Portugal with 2 dogs . The hotel was excellent and could not have been more accommodating for us and the dogs . Our dogs are 20 & 30+ kg so not small , we had warm welcome and the room was large and the bed was comfy , just what we needed after a long drive . A beautiful beach ‘Azuria ‘less than a 1km away which the dogs loved ; we visited in January so all beaches are dog friendly for well behaved dogs . We walked around Vila do Conde in the evening which is also stunning and an ideal pitstop before heading South . A lovely hotel and we very much appreciated the hospitality we received with the dogs . Would definitely stay again .     The Hotel has a good location, close to village center, to industrial zone and airport. Furthermore a delicious breakfast and very clean and well-equipped rooms.
