  The staff is pleasant. However, the room was more like a closet than a hotel room. No dressers, no closets, no table, no chair - not a single place to put your clothing. The fan and light fixture over the bed was the only light and it was either full on or not at all. The switch was by the door, so you had no light once turned off to get back in bed.The bathroom is large and roomy but who needs a bathroom half the size of the room! The towels were scratchy and thin.The room smelled of mold coming from the wall unit. Since I’m a walking mold detector, I smelled it as soon as I walked in the room and had to turn it off.There is no dead bolt on the door and the jamb doesn’t fully close the door - pushing on it allows for the door to move.Someone did a wonderful job in marketing because the pictures don’t look much like the hotel.In general, a well overpriced hotel that should be advertised as a motel, at best. I’m not sure what’s boutique about it other than being small.   Convenient location with helpful and accommodating staff, but room was very small, without a spot to open luggage except for floor or bed.   Please do not be fool by the photos on their websites! The only reason I am giving this a one star was because of the location and nice staff, other than that the hotel really sucks. We were charged $294 per night and was given the smallest room without a table, closet, lamp table and a dresser. We had to put our luggage on the floor. We even showed the front desk and the young man said that that was unacceptable. However, he doesn’t have any control over it when we asked if they have another room. I asked him if he can at least find us a chair. The young man had to look all over the small hallway only to find a regular small chair. Breakfast consist of peanut butter and bread, small croissants, store bought cheap pound cake, and a yogurt that they portioned out in a little cup. They did have orange juice. No fruits or anything else. I believe the manager/owner sits on the breakfast side by the pool just listening to conversation. The pool is very small. We should book at the Embassy Suite Hilton.   RUN away from this place! We checked in late, around 9. Elliot gave is the 3rd floor "penthouse" we went up to a.dark floor and a sign stating 3rd floor is under renovations and closed off to guests for safety concerns. We begged for another room, even offered to pay more money but elliot couldn't accommodate us. We went in the room, the TV was cracked, wifi didnt work up there and had no hot water. Felt very unsafe. We checked out the next morning and asked to be refunded for days we didn't stay. They said they would email us. We checked into hotel rumbao and had an amazing stay. However, coral princess emailed and said they wouldn't be refunding us because we didnt give them a chance to rectify the issues! We literally begged for another room and offered MORE money! This place is a joke. We are still in the process of fighting for.that refund and contacting a lawyer. Stay far away from here.
