    Good stay, if in the area I would stay again.

    The pros: Friendly and quick check-in process. Beds comfortable, Hot water and good shower pressure. Coffee maker and Yaucono brand coffee pods avail (not keurig or nespresso) and refrigerator in room. Ability to control a/c in room (this is a big deal, since we found that some hotels in PR don't allow guests to adjust). Body wash, Soap, Shampoo, Hair conditioner and lotion were available. The gym had plenty of space to get in a good workout. The sister property across the street has an amazing outdoor patio restaurant with good food and plenty of drink options. Parking was large and was gated. The terrace alongside the pool area is a nice spot to gather, relax or take phone calls. Noticed several guests on their laptops enjoying the breezy weather. Hotel Shuttle! The cons: A bit tricky to locate the hotel, or it could've been our gps, as we took the scenic route through the winding, maze like community to arrive but easily accessed the airport for departure. I requested a local area map, but none were available. The lobby, casino and common areas are a bit chilly. Bring a sweater. The room we were assigned had no telephone in the room. I was told some have/some don't. There's a telephone on the wall in the corridor that is supposed to connect to the front desk. I tried this and no dial tone and unable to connect to the front desk. No chair to sit at desk in the room. I was told some have/some don't. The lock to our room was malfunctioning and always had difficulty entering and exiting the room. Views to the back of the hotel face a community which has constant noise from cars, music, trucks etc. in the morning. The pool looked inviting, however the temp was in low 70's during our stay, so the water in the pool was cold as its not heated. I'm certain in the summer months it's refreshing. Denny's onsite is ok for breakfast. Pro's outweighed the con's. I'm certain once they fully renovate and address the con's above the stay will be outstanding.     Great Service, Room(s) for Improvement

    I stayed here for a few nights during a week-long conference in Puerto Rico. The staff truly stood out. They were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming throughout my stay. On my first night, I had an issue with the door lock sticking, which made me feel uncomfortable as I was traveling alone. The staff handled it promptly and professionally, switching my room with no hesitation and even sending someone to assist with moving my bags.While the service was excellent, the property itself could use a bit of TLC, as it does feel somewhat run down. With some updates, this hotel could really match the level of care and hospitality provided by its staff.     A hidden gem in Aguadilla

    I visited Aguadilla for a short one-day trip and chose Courtyard by Marriott—what a great decision! The front desk team, Paola Denizard and Fabiola Garcia, made check-in quick and pleasant. I was upgraded to a clean and spacious family suite, which was a wonderful surprise.Even more memorable was meeting the hotel’s founder, Jesús Ruiz, who greeted me warmly in the lobby. That personal touch made the stay feel truly special.If you’re exploring Puerto Rico’s west coast, this hotel offers comfort, hospitality, and a great location. Highly recommend!     “Filthy Room and Weeks of No Response — Avoid This Hotel”

    Review for Courtyard by Marriott Aguadilla (Stay: August 29, 2025)As a longtime Marriott Bonvoy member, I was deeply disappointed with my experience at this property, and I feel compelled to share it so other travelers are aware before booking.After arriving at 5:00 AM with my family, we were given a room that was completely unacceptable:Beds appeared slept in and left unmadeFood remnants were on the tables and floorTowels were tossed carelessly in the bathroomThe only alternative offered smelled strongly of old, worn carpet and was not suitable. For a $300 room, this level of cleanliness and care was shocking. With no acceptable option provided, we had no choice but to leave and book at the nearby Holiday Inn, which immediately gave us a spotless room and complimentary breakfast.What made the situation even worse is that it has now been weeks since I reached out to hotel management, and I have received no response, explanation, or apology. For a brand that emphasizes service and loyalty, this ongoing silence is unacceptable.I cannot recommend this hotel. Until management demonstrates higher standards of cleanliness and guest care, travelers are better served staying elsewhere in Aguadilla.     This Hotel Staff is the Reason Why we moving away from Hilton To Marriot , as our Normal Hotel ecosystem

    Why do I rate five stars? Because this system doesn't have more. I want to make something clear: This property is under renovation, so, yes, expect some disruption. But the staff is on another level. I don't usually stay at Marriott, maybe 5 times a year or so; I'm more of a Hilton person. Currently a diamond member, I think this staff change has changed my mind. I have to come back and get their names to do this review, because I bring so many issues to this staff that dissolve it in seconds. Alysha, Paola, and Brian, OMG, two words for them: Outstanding Professionalism. On the first Thursday at 2 pm, I received a notification on my app to check in, which is when I realized I had made a mistake. I was supposed to arrive at PR on Friday. I called the Hotel, and she told me, 'Don't worry, and change the arrival date; no extra questions.' The second problem was that I was supposed to leave on Sunday, but I made it until Saturday. She made me an extra reservation, and the list was on and on, better my kids calling for extra pillows, them extra blankets, them extra towels, on and on and on, non stop, I feel shame, while they just smile at us like they use to this, them saturdat she told me she was working on gives me same room and just readjust my first to two night instead of one so I save a lot of money and she was able to set me in the same room so we don;t even have to check out, at the end I spoke with them again that my flight was late night, she call the manager witch approve me until 6 pm, wiving us the chance to go out to enjoy extra day and come back to take a shower and even enjoy the pool before late check out, as you can see, Yes, the Hotel looks oldy, but is in current renovation, but please keep this proffecional staff, they make me feel like a King and really make me Consider to move from Hilton to marriot from now on, Comming back on October this will be my standard Hotel to stay every time I visit the Island, also we make the desition to apply to the Marriot Credit card since we flight very often .
