Good choice to stay at the west of the Island

Friendly staff. Fast service. Very comfortable suite and very cozy bed. The restaurant is open until 11pm. They offer a good and savory menu and the staff waits patiently until the last person finishes it's late night meal. The hotel is very accessible from every point of Mayagüez and nearby municipalities.

Great staff, decent amenities stuck in a tough location

Decent option for a stay on the western side of Puerto Rico. The location itself is charmless suburbia filled with chain restaurants and concrete but that isn't the hotel's fault. The hotel itself is a bit tired but the staff are great. It has a reasonable number of activities available between the pool, basketball area and volleyball court. The overall vibe was a bit tired though - as thought it had seen better days. I would stay again if the chance presented itself and it made sense to stay in Mayaguez.

This is a great hotel. The staff was exceptional. The hotel looks recently remolded. The room was squeaky clean and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and even the outdoor furniture is clean. The location was great for heading north or south or west.There are several great restaurants within 15 minutes and great beaches 1/2 hour away. The hotel pool area was lovely. The guest laundry was modern.

Friendly hotel...once you get there

My wife and I stayed here and enjoyed it. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a good view looking east toward mountains. Some downsides: The pool area looks fabulous, but the pool hours were too short for us to use it. This place is tricky to get to. It's on a frontage road off of Puerto Rico Rt. 2, and we found it hard to find the turn--we wound up driving up to the mall area north of the hotel and turning around. I also misread the map and thought a beach was walkable from there. The lobby area is pretty small and unremarkable.But more good things: Parking was ample and easy. Everyone was very friendly. But I especially want to praise the hotel bartender Hector. He was one of the friendliest and most helpful bartenders/servers I have ever met. He made us feel at home, made us so comfortable we ordered dinner, and made great suggestions on where to go on our visit. He was remarkable! We'd be happy to stay there again.
