    The hotel facility and grounds are amazing. They are kept up well. The staff was very friendly and mad sure we knew we could let them. Know if we needed anything. Steven was the concierge and tried very diligently to get us to attend and owners update but he was professional and not pushy. We have no need to attend updates but considered going just because he was so nice.The show Reynolds Alexander was amazing. It was funny and thought provoking. He kept the audience engaged the entire time. You will leave highly entertained and saying how did he do that. Highly recommend if you are in PR go see this show.

    We really enjoyed the beach here. Everybody was very professional at the hotel also. Reynolds Alexander performed a really good audience participation magic show. Adriana and Denise were fantastic greeters too. Alondra at Caicu was an excellent bartender. I’d hire her if I still had my company. Giovanni at the 5:00 Somewhere bar was also very professional and friendly. Both made good Margaritas. Everything was excellent.

    We so enjoy going to the 5 O’clock Somewhere bar to hang out as Christian is our favorite bartender/server. He always recognizes our faces and just so pleasurable. He makes us feel so special!! We will be back as our experience here war fantastic!! Today we had the pleasure of seeing a server name Naomi from the Tiki bar. She was our server at the pool near 5 O’clock Somewhere. Naomi is so pleasant, always has a smile and she stopped several times to ask if we were all set or if we needed anything.

    Girls trip to Margaritaville! It is a beautiful location right on the beach with lots of food options. I had a presidential suite and it came with a cabana! That was great to relax in and have food and drinks delivered.

    We spent a week at the Margaritaville and enjoyed our stay very much. The property is beautiful and clean with well tended gardens, nice public spaces and efficient elevators (anyone who has been in a hotel will slow elevators will understand!). The staff was friendly and efficient.We were in a studio with a mountain view which looked over the golf course and toward El Yunque National Forest. It was a beautiful view even though our room was over the parking garage. The hotel had covered the roof of the garage with turf so it was not unsightly although exhaust fans were a bit loud when sitting on the balcony. It wasn't really an issue except I couldn't hear the nightlife, especially the tiny coqui frogs that made the most amazing noises at night. These could be heard all around the pool area and it was enchanting.The room was large and comfortable with excellent lighting, which isn't always the case in hotel rooms. The king size bed was comfortable with light bedding and enough pillows. They don't do daily cleaning as it is a vacation club (ie timeshare) but provided a broom to sweep the tile floor, if necessary. A few extra hangers would have been nice but there was enough drawer space for things that didn't fit in the closet. There were free laundry facilities on several floors, I didn't use them but they looked clean and in good working order. We had a small kitchenette with all we needed for the week. Overall, the room was very nice.We ate in all the restaurants and the food was excellent. 2025 food prices still give me a bit of a heart flutter but they were on par with what you'd expect for on-resort restaurants. At least the food was good so we didn't regret paying the prices. We had a few drinks at 5 O'Clock Somewhere and they were very good.The 5 o'clock Somewhere pool/restaurant was right outside the door of the Vacation Club tower so very convenient. There were lots of shaded chairs and rental cabanas with shade. The restrooms were very convenient and clean. The towel station was always manned with lots of fluffy towels and a resident cat, Cali, that we enjoyed visiting daily. The hot tub wasn't especially hot but was roomy with good jets.We eventually chose to sit by the adults pool on the Rio Mar side of the resort as those chairs had extra cushioning. It was also a nice pool area with shade and cabanas. The staff was attentive and brought drinks or food (for an 18% tip included in the bill). The music was a bit louder here (not sure why) but wasn't unpleasant. There was also easy access to restrooms. The hot tub was hot but the jets were not always on and the staff didn't have the ability to turn them on, they just came on randomly (??). Rio Mar also had a family pool with a wading/play area for smaller kids and waterslides. We didn't spend time there but it looked very nice with lots of loungers in sun or shade.The beach is easily accessed from multiple areas. The sand was groomed pretty well. Staff was quick to bring chairs and umbrellas at no cost. The surf was a bit rough and there were red flag warnings a couple of the days. It wasn't deep, though, so we waded in to our hips without worry but didn't go deeper due to the warnings of rip tides. We didn't bring a car but rented one from the on-site rental company for one day to go to El Yunque (well worth it). As there was only one agent, there was a bit of waiting while she helped others. The price was ok and included one night of parking so we we out for breakfast the next day before returning the car. Driving was easy enough although the access road was a bit narrow without lines so I was glad we weren't driving at night.There were some renos going on so the casino was closed and we checked in at a temporary reception desk. Both of these were opening the day we were leaving so we got a glimpse of the casino (looked large and well appointed) and the new reception desk (very swanky). We have already booked for January 2026 so will see more the new spaces then, I'm sure.
