The hotel complex is attractive and very centrally located, whilst only separated by a road from the most beautiful beach on the island. Only some 5 minutes to San Juan international airport and around 15 minutes to Old San Juan, the location of this hotel also offers guests excellent opportunities for a trip to Puerto Rico. The rain forest is only around 45 minutes away.

Facility

The hotel has 222 rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Was told the room was ready at 12:30 pm but there were system problems could not check in till 3pm....waited at the bar lounge and asked for some small compensation....was responded with a too bad check in is at 3pm....but we left a restaurant early because our room was ready....now THE ROOM...looks like a 1960 Brothell the shower floor and frame is rusted and filthy...had to put a large towel on the floor to not step on the filthy tiles...This is a red roof...days in Indian run dump will be requesting a full refund for a horrible experience....DO NOT BOOK THIS DUMP...!!!

My stay at TRYP by Wyndham Isla Verde was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect.The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed — the perfect place to relax after enjoying the beach and everything Isla Verde has to offer. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the ocean and surrounded by great options to eat and explore.What truly made the experience special was the service and the hotel's overall vibe. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable, and memorable stay in Puerto Rico.

Stayed here for a wedding. Honestly, everything was mediocre especially for the price we paid for a king size room. They didn’t mention to us that they held an ADDITIONAL $200 deposit in case of incidentals. No no no no, you aren’t made aware of this extra $200 they will hold until after your flight, Uber ride from the airport and are finally standing at the front desk. Oh and our room did not have a microwave and our refrigerator (mini fridge) was on the floor -_-. However, the real bait and switch was that when we booked our king sized room at home, breakfast was included. On our last morning here as we ate breakfast the day before without a problem, we are informed as we are eating at the table, that we now suddenly needed a breakfast voucher to eat. We didn’t know what she was talking about as I just said, we ate here yesterday morning without so much as a question. When JESUS checked us into our room day before yesterday, taking that additional $200 we weren’t made aware of or prepared for until that very moment, he told us to our faces that breakfast is included, the hours and pointed to their buffet area behind us. We brought up the website to rely on our booking info as we wouldn’t book a stay anywhere unless breakfast was included and THEY HAD CHANGED THE LISTING! After we were already checked into this hotel, I don’t know if it was because of the weekend or they were already doing poorly but new bookings now state on their website, “breakfast not included” . I ended up paying $42, that’s right $42 for TWO people for that sad little overrun tired breakfast buffet. We didn’t pay zip yesterday but today? SMH. For $42 I would have gone to Los Pinos two buildings down on the same strip and had hot breakfast with awesome coffee for $12 for two people, not for the crumbs and dregs of a hotel buffet. There wasn’t even any more coffee and the eggs were old and hard. Bait and switch. We would have never stayed here if we knew then what we know now, so now I’m telling you to avoid our mistake. Stay with their competitors.

Not a good experience after all. Poor service at front desk at my arrival, they could manage to offer a solution by instead took more than 30 minutes to check in. Charged me more than 200 usd extra at check in than usual. Poor amenities at the room, no water refill after room service. Hotel could be more like a 2 star rather than 3.

The staff is not friendly and not accommodating. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to friends or family. The negative reviews are all true. I wish I would’ve looked before booking.
