    Loved the mix of modern and historic in this property. Felt small and intimate. The bed was super comfortable and the location perfect for Old San Juan. Staff very friendly and helpful.

    An absolutely beautiful historical building from the 1700s. Quiet and private with a wonderful location. The rooftop was lovely for coffee in the morning and a dip in the hot tub. Just as comfortable and beautiful at night as well. Wonderful AC in the rooms. The best part is the historical charm and accommodating staff. After hours check in was easy and the location was the best for walking anywhere. Fafo in the office was so kind and helpful

    Great little hotel in perfect location in Old San Juan. Room was small but well laid out. Air conditioning a plus. Beautiful courtyard and great sun deck with jacuzzi on roof. Modern art mixed with antique furniture. Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Breakfast at nearby Luna Cafe recommended.

    We needed an overnight hotel in a hurry. This was a quick decision to book Villa Herencia and WOW, were we surprised. Yes, they have limited reception hours so we had to follow emailed instructions. No, there is no parking and the narrow, brick street was challenging for drop offs, but all was addressed. Parking is a less than 10 min walk, which cost $3 or $5 for length of stay, as long as you leave the car. The rooms are exquisite...filled with antiques. Beds were dreamy. A/C was remote controlled and we kept it cold! Nespresso machine and pods were provided. Location is right beside San Cristobal and close to everything in Old San Juan. We ended up needing a 2nd night due to flight issues. The young man at reception was helpful in handling that, as well as offering ideas of how to spend our extra day. Rooftop hot tub and bathtubs for cooling off. We will be back...100%. Thank you for a great, unexpected experience.

    A unique hideaway in the middle of old San Juan.

    A very unique and pleasurable experience. We spent two nights here pre-cruise. Short ride from airport and short ride to Cruiseport. The location is excellent. You are on a quiet side street but just a block away from an open plaza where all the hubbub is going on. Old San Juan is very hilly, and I would say this location is on the higher side of the city. We had three rooms on the first floor area. All of the rooms were different. Ask for the room that used to be a kitchen, very cool. We use the rooftop deck a lot. Lots of seating, lots of tables with shade. A hot tub, and a couple of ball and claw tubs (!). A large dining room off of the entranceway is a shared space for you to hang out in or convene with friends and family before or after going out. Hot coffee in the morning. Bakeries and restaurants are just steps away. It felt very safe and clean. Some of the tile work could use some repair and such, but it wasn't bothersome or rundown. Front of the house staff isn't always there, but they let you know how you can reach them nearby. They are very charming and helpful.
