Ruined our 2026 Eid Break!
29 May 2026
We’ve lived in the Middle East for over 20 years. Hotels here are not hard to get right — the standard is high and guests expect it. This property didn’t come close.Check-in was chaotic. Luggage just sat there. Nobody seemed to own the problem. When we got to the room, no towels. I called housekeeping, waited, called again, eventually walked to reception. They showed up hours later.Room service took so long we gave up and went out. Valet was the same story — you’d call for the car and just wait, no update, no apology, no explanation. Every single request, no matter how basic, felt like it was being handled reluctantly. The timing made it worse. This was an Eid stay. A family trip we’d actually planned. My daughter is young and she doesn’t miss much — she noticed we were stressed.I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. This is the only one I’ve left feeling like I should warn people about. Nalin Piyatissa, Guest Services / Front Office at Al Najada Doha Hotel Apartments by Oaks, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you for your feedback. Having lived in the region for over two decades, you rightly expect the highest standard of Middle Eastern hospitality, and it is clear we fell entirely short during your Eid stay.I am sincerely sorry for the chaotic check-in and the unacceptable delays you experienced with housekeeping, room service, and valet. An Eid break is a special time for family, and I deeply regret that these service failures caused noticeable stress for you and your daughter. What you described does not reflect our standards. I am addressing these operational gaps directly with our department heads to ensure they are corrected immediately. We would welcome the opportunity to connect with you directly to make amends. Please contact me at [Email/Phone] at your convenience.Warm regards,Nalin Srilath - Cluster Front office Manager

Great experience at a very nice hotel. Special thanks to Arovinda and Ismail who set up an amazing display for my daughters first birthday, it wasn't expected and they really made her very happy! Will definitely be staying here time and time again because of the level of service and kind, friendly staff. Arovinda came to reset my room every day with a huge smile. Thank you again for making my daughters birthday special, it truly meant a lot to us.
