    Due to Middle East flight cutbacks, my Qatar Airways SGN-to-JFK layover via DOH stretched from 3 to 9 hours. Fortunately, Qatar provided a free stopover at the Oryx Airport Hotel inside Hamad International Terminal. The check-in staff was incredibly efficient and welcoming. Despite being inside a busy airport, the room had excellent soundproofing, allowing me to sleep perfectly from midnight until 6:00 AM. A highly convenient saving grace for a stressful flight disruption.     Location is perfect for transits. It is also nice to have the pool. However for the price it is not very good value.
