    I can’t fault this apartment hotel at all. What a fantastic find. Clean, spacious, modern, good value, professional friendly and helpful staff, great food in the restaurant. I would definitely book here again for our next visit to Bucharest.

    A pleasant stay in Bucharest

    We were booked to stay here for our trip to Bucharest by travel company Travelpedia UK. Lovely hotel, clean and tidy. Our two bedroom apartment was huge, two comfortable bedrooms, two toilets, a lovely shower and a kitchen. We were given complementary water, coffee, tea etc. slippers and robes to use for our stay. Our room was made up every day and it was very clean and tidy. The hotel staff were friendly. We had a big balcony that wraps around the apartment.Downsides, the freezer needed defrosting as the door wouldn't shut, the safety box would not work and the lady couldn't get it to work, no one came back to fix or change. We requested a pack breakfast to take away for our early start on a tour the day after we arrived and when we came down at 6am, the man at the front desk had no idea and no one had told him, therefore there was no breakfast prepared. They did manage to put something together quickly but it was not much and not for kids! Anyway, overall we had a pleasant stay.

    A jewel and a pleasant surprise in the heart of Bucharest

    I spent a night at Athina Suites Hotel. Very pleased.Apart-Hotels are not subject to same criteria as normal Hotels but just the same I was extremely pleased and impressed. The two rooms I stayed in were very spacious and offered and enviable view of that part of the city through large windows and a beautiful balcony with a table and chairs. The building itself is new and built to perfection.The rooms themselves were furnished in the same style as most apart hotels are furnished but when it comes to the important features for the seasoned traveler, the hotel has nothing to envy toward any 5 star hotel of this size. The bathroom is spacious and top 5 star quality and the bedroom and bed are also top 5 star quality (note I am heavy and tall…I was very comfortable and a very good sleep for me as the sun blocking curtains were also up to 5 star quality). Another 5 stars for the Mitsubishi Climate system that is installed which currently ranks number 1 in the world of Climate control and air conditioners. Lastly the hotel’s restaurant is fabulous, a blend of oriental and mediterranean cuisine. Very friendly staff.I would return anytime and highly recommend Athina Suites Hotel in Bucharest!

    Great place We were in a family suite as they were busy and last room available.Exceptionally spacious, spotlessy clean.The staff at reception were very pleasant and professional.Breakfast was self-service and was excellent.They have an on site restaurant which had a wide and varied menu. Very good quality and again great service.The area is off the tourist trail, therefore quite quiet. Nice location.We were facing the back of the block which was much quieter as the front area is quite busy. Good balcony.We used UBER to get around and never had a problem.Would definitely stay again and would recommend.Many thanks for a great stay.

    We stayed here our first night in Romania and were made welcome by a nice desk clerk who spoke great English. Our room was on the 6th floor and was much larger than we anticipated (with a separate living room and kitchenette). The room was very quiet and the air conditioning worked great. The bathroom didn’t have lots of counter space but was otherwise great with plentiful hot water and pressure and provided wash cloths. We added breakfast at the neighboring restaurant and liked the selections on their buffet which included pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurt, cereals, coffee and tea.
