Worst hotel I've been in for years

    rating05 Apr 2025

This hotel looked nice in photos of the outside. The room was basic at best. Not the cleanest. Not enough sockets to charge phones and laptops. A notice said not to move furniture and there would be a 30€ charge if we did. Only socket was behind my bed. Bathroom was a disgrace. Plastic stick on tiles on the floor. Not seen anything like it. One of the shower doors was hanging off the runners and dangerous. The reception staff were miserable and not at all welcoming. The only good thing that there is a lift. Albeit it's probably from the 1950's. We'll never stay here again

Fair, great location but hot & stuffy room

    rating22 May 2024

A bit run-down and charmless, but decent value and great location. But my room was very hot and stuffy and sleeping was difficult. They wouldn't let me turn on the air conditioner -- their facilities description is deceptive. My thermometer said room was 25C (77F), and there was little air flow from the window that only opened a little.

    Fantastic option for 3 stars

The BEST relation quality-price. Its situation is the BEST: you have public transport near, the center of Bucharest is only 15 minutes on foot. No noises , you can sleep perfectly and the treatment is familiar. No luxuries but It is perfect if you are a practical, sensitive and you like peace but at the same time all services near. I Will come back.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in

    rating15 Nov 2019

Me and my colleagues, we had a conference in Bucharest and Dalin*** Hotel was recommended by the organizers as being close to the event. So we went there. First of all, when checking in, we had to pay for all three nights that we had to stay. After that we went to the rooms. Rooms are dated with old furniture and filthy carpets. Bathroom was ok until I had a shower and half of the drained water leaked into the bathroom. I told the manager about this issue next day and it was kind of repaired but not entirely. A colleague found a bed linen in the room. She was determined to give up the room and move to another hotel, but she was refused money refund for two nights.I had a room on the second floor and one night there was a feast at the restaurant on the first floor. I knew about this, but I didn't think I couldn't sleep until 3 in the morning, despite the fact that I had taken sleeping pills in the evening.Breakfast included was the same in all mornings: eggs or scrambled eggs, some sausages and cheese, traces of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, plus coffee or tea. If you wanted a second coffee, you had to pay for it. The juice offered was anything but natural. This hotel is not worth, in my opinion, more than one and a half or two stars. The only advantages are the location, at about 10 minutes walk to the city center and the Old Town, and that it is cheaper than other *** hotels.I won't repeat this experience again when in Bucharest.

    It was okay.

    rating16 Oct 2017

Didn't feel overly welcomed at reception but it was quick and painless. Staying on the second floor but the first floor lights didn't work? Had to pull out my torch. The room was okay, especially for the price. As previous reviews mention, hand held shower is not great. My bedding also had a rip straight down the middle which was off-putting, I used my sleeping bag instead. Don't bother with the cafe downstairs, I walked in for dinner only to be stared at by one of two tables, a family eating. They stared at me until I realised they must be the owners and asked them for a menu. I felt so uncomfortable that I left. Breakfast included was decent, quite big and tasty. No, I wouldn't stay here again, but if you want somewhere cheap to put your things and sleep, it could be worse.
