    Rude guy at the reception

    The guy at the reception should have been casted a protagonist in Apex.I arrived from the airport in the middle of the night to get checked in and I felt like I disturbed him in his own house. No good evening, no hello … just Just the Grinch lecturing me I arrived late!I had to leave and find another hotel at 2 a.m because I was left waiting in the lobby with zero information and a lot of attitude from the front desk.

    Descent hotel in a nice district

    I was booked into this hotel by the Company as we had the event in the same place. Located in a central residential district of Bucharest, the hotel offers spacious rooms and descent service. Hotel is located on a certain distance from the Main Street, therefore one can leave the balcony door open at night to get some fresh air. Bathroom is descent, bedding is also good. Wi/fi works well. They have to improve on Coffee, breakfast also leaves something to be desired. Terrace should be operation as their restaurant is a bit depressing. Otherwise good place for a short stay.

    I stayed at Marshal Garden hotel for a 2-day business trip. The overall experience was pretty positive, the room was clean and modern, ambient lighting was pretty nice, bathroom was functional and WiFi performance was very good. I also liked breakfast, the selection of products was pretty decent and taste/freshness were good, too! It's also worth noting that breakfast is served on the 6th floor, allowing for nice panoramic views. The hotel itself is located in a pretty busy area and most landmarks are a few minutes away by taxi. I did choose to walk from the Bucharest North train station to the hotel and it took me roughly 25 minutes.On the downside, I was expecting that partially used shampoo and shower gel would be replenished, but it did not happen. I also noticed that housekeeping left my half empty coffee mug. For a hotel of its category, I would expect housekeeping to do a more meticulous job, but still this did not take anything away from the positive experience. Reception staff was very polite and helpful.

    This is my 3rd time at the Marshall Garden Hotel, I really like it.Staff is great, rooms are nice, WIFI is free and works well, location is good. What more to ask? I’ll be back again for sure during my next business trip to Bucharest. Good value for your money

    The biggest disappointment in a 5 star hotel

    I traveled for a weekend to Bucuresti with my family, wife and two kids.About the room… at least weird with the glass bathroom, not so clean, no housecleaning in the two days stay.The poorest breakfast I EVER had in a hotel or even guesthouse. The continental breakfast served Saturday morning had eggs and one kind o cheese. That’s it! Some vegetables besides and few yogurts. The breakfast saloon was dirty from the event one night before.And about the private events: on Saturday night there were 3 different events. We stayed at the third floor but the music was so loud that my little girl couldn’t sleep until midnight when the band stopped but the music continued at a lower volume.Once again, it’s the most disappointed 5 star accommodation I ever experienced. Marshal Garden Hotel, General Manager at Marshal Garden Hotel, responded to this review Every person, before buying an object or a service, they document themselves in order to now the content and the benefits, etc. In conclusion, they buy with know how. If you, at the moment when you reserved your room, you should have read our important informations on the website, regarding the noise and music from the events! Marshal Garden Hotel has 80% income from the events, and only 20% from accommodation. We are sorry to hear that, you did not have the wished comfort, since you did not read the important informations. Same thing with so called weird glass bathroom!!! Document yourselves!!!Regarding the Housekeeping, whenever you leave your 'DND" sign on the door, our colleagues will not disturb you!Hotel Management has decided, starting from the 1st of June, not to include Breakfast in the room rate. Breakfast can be served a la carte, following the USA and Europe model. Until now, after the pandemic started until the 1st of June, the Hotel was serving Continental Breakfast, and all of the customers that are travelling know that Continental Breakfast is the same everywhere in the world, no matter the country. We we're serving Continental Breakfast for the price of 6 euro/day, not 15 as it is in most of the Hotels in all of the countries in Europe. Buffet breakfast is not possible to be served considering all the high prices for all the products and for the energy and gas.
