    Unbelievably noisy. The cleaning lady is making the room at 07:01 AM of the 1st January, waking up all the guests. Noone speaks English in this hotel.The proper rating would be 1 star and not 3.Worst experience of my life, highly not recommended.

    This hotel is huge with pretty gardens and a large pool. The hotel is close to a pleasant but busy beach/ lagoon and in walking distance from some shops and restaurants. We did not eat at the hotel at all except for breakfast as the prices were quite expensive. No English was spoken so nothing was really explained to us. The room cleaners only came in the afternoon when we were showering so we told them they were not needed then! The hotel is so big it feels somewhat impersonal and the breakfast is a bit of a “bun fight” as many items seem to run out due to so many people using a small buffet area at the same time. The food is ok but not much variety and not a huge amount of options to choose. The rooms are large but very plain with no character, but clean.

    Prime location for your Reunion Island adventure. The hotel is directly on the swimming lagoon - one of the only safe swimming beaches on the island with crystal clear warm sea and basic snorkeling capabilities. Staff are so friendly and helpful, two pools to choose from and a la Carte restaurant available only at lunch during our stay. Breakfast and all dinners are buffet only - but out the beach gate, walk left and you’ll find two great restaurants La Manta and La Marmite as well as some street food options. Supermarket and ATM also a short walk in the other direction, you have to explore to find as little information provided on site and our French was not good enough for conversation! Booked all excursions at the tourism office in St Gilles just a quick bus ride away as nobody available at the hotel activity desk during our stay. All in all, a great 5 night stay for a base in Reunion island.     The location is not enough

    Fortunately for this hotel its location is exceptional and the garden luxuriant because the service is pretty poor. I had to wait so long at the reception that I finally decided to give up. The barman is nice and staff at the breakfast are doing some efforts but I didn't feel that they really knew what service means in a tourism activity. Also I was so surprised to be notified that there was no bin in the garden and I had to walk to the bar to hand my rubbish over, that's really shocking. The room is ok.     Average. Expensive.We were there with cruise ship tour. Show was avarage 2 dancers 2 musicians. Even the Madagascar villages have better shows. Avoid. Food is also blunt avarage no waiters were around self service with boring open buffet here is the price list for soft drinks, you decide but I do not recommend.
