Pleasant stay at Anse Soleil Beachcomber

    rating12 Apr 2026

We just had four lovely nights at the hotel. Staff was very friendly, the food was good, beach was lovely and with nice shade of needed. The snorkeling was'nt bad either. It is an advantage to have a car here, since the hotel is a bit far from everything. We visited several other beaches, Pilot Bay and the Marine Park was our favourites. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Nice and quiet family run Hotel in Mahe!

    rating21 Mar 2026

We had a nice stay there, our first steps at Mahe, Seychelles. Really nice and quiet beach, nice and friendly staff. All was simple but good! Food especially breakfast could be more various and tasty, but overall we recommend this family run hotel! Thank you

    My honeymoon

    rating08 Oct 2025

We stayed at the Anse Soleil Beachcomber Eco-Hotel, a cozy beachfront lodge surrounded by lush jungle and the turquoise ocean. The atmosphere at the hotel was peaceful, authentic, and intimate. It made us feel completely at home from the very first day. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They were always ready to help, give recommendations, and share insights into the local culture and wildlife. Our family bungalow was spacious, clean, and full of light, with a stunning ocean view right from our balcony. The room had everything we needed including a mosquito net, fan, and a small fridge. We especially loved falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to the chirping of tropical birds. Housekeeping did a great job and every day we returned to a fresh and tidy room.Every morning we enjoyed a delicious local breakfast and then we were picked up from the hotel for a new adventure. We visited nearby islands, went snorkeling, and saw colorful fish, sea turtles, and even dolphins. It was a perfect opportunity for the kids to get to know wildlife and understand what it means to live in harmony with the environment. We also went hiking in the jungle, explored a spice garden, and tried some amazing Creole dishes in a local village. This trip gave us a new outlook on life. It felt calmer, simpler, and more connected to nature. We came back with beautiful memories, lots of photos, and a strong wish to return one day.If you are planning a family vacation and want something truly special, I highly recommend staying at Anse Soleil Beachcomber Eco-Hotel in the Seychelles. You will come away with lifelong memories just like we did.

NOT AT ALL WHAT WE WERE EXPECTING

    rating31 Dec 2024

On the up side, when we arrived our room’s air conditioning unit wasn’t working & we then found my husband had to walk up & down numerous steps & clamber over rocks to get to the beach so we went to discuss our options. The staff were incredibly helpful & moved us to a villa which had its own small pool. The villa was lovely & more in line with what we were expecting. We cannot thank ALL the staff for their kindness & helpfulness during our stay. Now for the not so good! The hotel is in a lovely location marred by its not so attractive dining, reception & deck. We were extremely surprised as all reviews raved about it. At best I would give it 2 stars & the price is in line with 3 to 4 star. The breakfast is mediocre with nice fruit, cheese & cold meat & you could order eggs. The butter pats all melted as no one thought to put them in a bowl of ice cubes. Not an appetising buffet by any stretch of the imagination. The lunch menu was OK but the dinner menu has too many, poorly cooked dishes on it. The chicken curry was good but not quite sure what all was in it. My banana pancakes were thick & stodgy & my husbands fried fish was over cooked & dry. When you consider the prices, not good value for money.Unless you have a car you are trapped as it is very, very hilly. The golf buggy picks you up & very efficient.Do not consider this hotel if you have a walking problem as getting to the beach (no swimming pool on site) is very difficult. In summary, if you are looking for a rustic, get away from it all holiday then this is the place for you.
