Location

Located on Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles, at Anse Bois de Rose on the south-western coast, this beach hotel lies in over 81 hectares of natural beauty on the edge of the Indian Ocean. The beach is roughly a 25-minute drive and the city centre of Baie Sainte Anne is around 15 minutes' drive away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 12 junior suites and 40 double rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. Guests can enjoy the view of the beach from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products, a selection of towels and background music. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, crazy golf, golf and fishing. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as canoeing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving or, for a fee, sailing. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, squash and callisthenics. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include an entertainment programme and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At breakfast and dinner, guests serves themselves at the generous buffet. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    A trip to paradise

    We stayed here recently for 3 nights with family and friends. It was an awesome experience. The beauty of the resort is breathtaking. Our beach facing rooms were very spacious and offered great views. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They arranged our trip to anse lazio and that was a memory I would always cherish.     Had an amazing stay at Coco de Mer Hotel & Black Parrot Suites, Parslin Seychelles! The property is beautifully located right beside the beach, offering breathtaking ocean views and a truly peaceful atmosphere.The views from the room were absolutely stunning — waking up to the endless blue ocean and lush surroundings felt like a dream. Nights here are simply magical, with the sound of the waves, cool breeze, and a sky full of countless stars creating the most relaxing and unforgettable experience. It truly feels like paradise.The beach is beautiful, calm, and perfect for enjoying nature and sunsets.     This is a unique and highly curated location; it is out of the most touristic area of Praslin but at the same time close to all the worthsee places.The atmosphere is always relaxed and the kindness and attentivness of all the people of the staff is one of its highlights. We stayed at Black Parrot where the rooms are furnished with care of all the details, with excellent materials and are equipped with all comforts (professional hairdryer, iron, Lavazza coffee machine, kettle, etc)Restaurant, pools, toilettes and shower, lobby, gardens and rooms are always clean.Coco de Mer offers a scheduled Nature Trail (it is short, 3 Hours, but it is a hiking!) and every morning a round trip to Anse Lazio: both great experiences. We did also daily trips to La Digue (boat&bike), on a catamaran and to Valle de Mai.We followed the advice of our travel agent who helped us to organize trip all over the world and Coco de Mer in Praslin was the perfect place for us.     The best start to our honeymoon!

    Coco de Mer is a lovely hotel with amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You are treated like family and nothing is too much trouble. We had one of the black parrot suites and were glad we upgraded. You get your own shared swimming pool with the other suite guests and own bar area (it’s also adults only I believe). The breakfast is a nicely varied buffet and as we were half board we had a lovely buffet dinner included, again with nicely varied options each night. They have their own beach as well as a little jetty with an infinity pool. There’s lots of sea grass and some coral offshore where you ca snorkel too. We did 5 nights on praslin which I would say is the right amount of time to see everything. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Anse Lazio the nicest beach on the island three times a week (takes about 30 mins). They also offer a free nature hike too which is very interesting with an amazing view at the end. Overall, we had a fantastic stay to start our honeymoon and if we ever come back to praslin we will definitely look to stay at the Coco de Mer!
