Location

The resort is located in the south of Mahe, right by the famous Baie Lazare beach. The centre of Victoria is roughly 40 min away by car, where guests will find shops and various sights including the Botanical Gardens of Mahe, the National Museum of Victoria and the market.

Facility

6 junior suites and 143 double rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a playroom and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are provided. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The resort has family rooms and 149 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. A variety of activities are available at the resort, for example cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball and paddle tennis or, for a fee, golf and fishing. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as snorkelling and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking and diving. The resort's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, billiards, darts, yoga and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a steam bath and, for an additional fee, a spa and massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a dinner from the buffet or à la carte offer plenty of delicious variety. Gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    A Wonderful Day Pass Experience for My Niece’s 3rd Birthday

    It was my niece’s 3rd birthday, and we came for a day pass. Let me start with the booking process. I was assisted by Petra, who I believe is the F&B Coordinator. She was very welcoming, and I called several times as I wanted the day to be well planned. She was always patient, helpful, and accommodating.On the day itself, we were welcomed by David (if I recall his name correctly) at reception. He was very friendly and took the time to explain everything about the day pass.A special mention goes to the fabulous Fabrice from Windsong Bar. He has an outstanding personality, and together with his team, as well as Nana and Sher, they made the day extra special for my niece and our whole family. I would also like to thank Jason, the pool attendant, and the rest of the team who were always willing to assist with sunbeds and poolside orders.Thank you all for your excellent service, teamwork, and hospitality. You truly made this celebration memorable for our family. Keep up the great work!     I recently spent a lovely day pass at the Kempinski Hotel with my friend, and our experience was truly exceptional from start to finish.We began our morning with breakfast at Café Lazare, where the team made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by Shirley, who was incredibly kind, polite, and professional. The level of hospitality from the entire team was beyond expectations.A special thank you to Chantal, Rona, Amelie, Mercia, Nelly, Emma, and Chef Daniel for the delicious omelette. And last but definitely not least, Chef Norita, who came to our table with a basket of fresh muffins and the biggest smile, kindly asking if we would like one — such a thoughtful and memorable touch.For lunch, we went to Windsong, where we were served by the lovely Ms. Babrha, who was very kind and attentive throughout our meal. A special thank you as well to Chef Emad, who kindly came to check on us and make sure everything was perfect.The hotel has a completely different touch from the others; from breakfast until the moment you leave, you truly feel valued and cared for.The teams at Café Lazare and Windsong are simply amazing.
