    Overpriced and left us hungry – Avoid the food!

    We stayed at Le Relax for one night (two couples, two rooms), and honestly, it was a massive disappointment for a "luxury" lodge.The staff were friendly enough, but that’s about the only positive. The rooms were okay, but the room service was just average—nothing special and certainly not what you expect at this price point.The real dealbreaker, though, was the food. It’s a total waste of money. We paid €25 per person for breakfast and literally got one banana, one apple, a tiny handful of grapes, a glass of juice, and one aloo paratha. I’ve stayed all over the Seychelles, and I’ve never seen anything like it. The options are nonexistent and the quantities are a joke.Dinner was just as bad. The portions were so small that a single person couldn't even get full, and they charge a premium for it. Pure disappointment.If you stay here, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to eat. The food is a 0/5. Greatly overpriced for tiny portions and very limited choices. Stay for the bed if you must, but don't waste a cent in their restaurant.

    Sahil, Tirupathi, Yankey the best possible service in all of Seychelles, we traveled with our 4 year old son and the experience could not have been better, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive all the time to anything we could need, truly appreciate all the sympathy they have shown us, the hotel is located in a quiet place, the rooms are very good and have all the possible details, refrigerator, TV, air etc, the restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner is right on the beach, the food is very good and the attention is truly incredible, finally it has a very nice pool that is always very empty since the hotel only has 6 rooms so the tranquility and relaxation are maximum, a big hug again to Sahil, Tirupathi, Yankey we wish you the best and hope to see you again soon.

    An unforgettable stay at Le Relax Luxury Lodge

    We spent 5 wonderful nights here and absolutely loved everything. The hotel is spectacular—our room was spacious, spotless, and the shower was large enough for two people. Wi-Fi coverage was excellent throughout the property.The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet, away from the crowds. From both the room and the dining area you get breathtaking views of the ocean, and the small beach just steps away is gorgeous and often completely empty. (It does have some currents, so it’s best for confident swimmers.) In just a few minutes you can walk to the beautiful Anse Patates beach, and about five minutes farther is Anse Sévère—our favorite on the island after Anse Source d’Argent.The staff made our stay outstanding. A special thank-you to Thirupathi, who was always smiling and ready to help with anything, including bike rentals and convenient club-car rides to Anse Source d’Argent at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend booking with breakfast and dinner included—restaurants on La Digue are limited and quite expensive. Chef Aravindh treated us to excellent à-la-carte breakfasts and dinners every day, and if you enjoy Indian flavors, you’ll be delighted.I stayed with my 3-year-old daughter, and we both had a fantastic time. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful hotel—it truly captured our hearts.

    Horrible Experience!

    Avoid this place!Pictures and description are really misleading.What you will experience is musty smelling rooms, worn furniture, dusty curtains, cockroaches and other insects (every night), really dirty bathroom. Loud neighbors with a barking dog (all night long). Room service left our room unlocked. Windows cannot be opened as they are screwed to the frames. Breakfast was a joke and an impudence in view of the room rate ...We were so disappointed (and disgusted by the place), that we shortened our visit. Hotel manager confirmed that we would be refunded. However, this was later revoked by the general manager using false reasons, so they even cheated on us and didn't sticked to their promise. We are still waiting to get our money back!Reading through the replies given by the management to other low reviews/ratings, I expect them to put the blame one us, their customers ... which would simply complement the picture of how they perceive and treat customers.A shame for Seychelles and La Digue. Mrinal Kapoor, General Manager at Le Relax Luxury Lodge, responded to this review Dear Guest, Greetings! You should tell the truth. You wrote an email to management to give you a refund for one night after having checked-in in the hotel or else you will write an adverse comment about the hotel. Your argument that you asked a staff for a refund is absurd. Do you ask a passenger, an air hostess or a captain of an airline for a refund or check what is written on your ticket and terms and conditions that go along with your ticket! As proof, we can forward your email to any guest who wishes to confirm what we have stated above.     Wonderful Stay at Le Relax Luxury Lodge - A Peaceful Retreat

    Our stay at Le Relax Luxury Lodge in La Digue, Seychelles, was amazing from start to finish. Kishore and Yankee greeted us warmly at the ferry jetty and took us to the resort. Check-in was quick, and we settled right in.We stayed in Room No. 1, with a beautiful ocean view. The area was quiet, almost like a private spot just for us. Sitting outside and watching the ocean was so calming, a perfect escape in nature.The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including excellent WiFi, which was much better than other places we’ve stayed in Seychelles.As Indian vegetarians, we were thrilled with the food options. We used room service for dinner, and every meal was delicious. Breakfast was also fantastic, with many Indian vegetarian choices. Finding authentic masala tea was a wonderful surprise!The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making our stay even better. My wife and I loved every moment, and we’re already missing it. We’ll definitely return to Le Relax Luxury Lodge for another relaxing getaway!
